Sabrina's POV

That week passed very quickly. I dreaded saying goodbye to my best friends for the very last time.

It was the day before I was leaving, and I woke up with a frown on my face.

I checked my phone. I had a text from both of my best friends saying they wanted to hang out.

I immediately texted back saying "yes!" I wanted to spend as much time with them until I have to leave.

I took my shower, prayed, and got ready. I wore an abaya (long, black dress that's modest) with a varsity jacket since it was chilly. I had a grey scarf, and for shoes I had grey TOMS.

I left the house, and drove to Starbucks to meet up with them to have breakfast.

When I entered Starbucks, I saw my friends sitting in the corner talking about something.

I approached them, and they greeted me. I sat down and asked them what they were talking about.

They stammered, and replied back with a "nothing".

I decided to trust them, and let the subject go.

We finished our breakfast.

"So, where do you guys want to go now?" I asked.

Safiya, Laila, and I all looked at each other, and we knew the answer to the obvious question.

"Shopping!" We all said.

After 4 hours of shopping, we took a break, and sat down at a bench.

"I think I now understand what they mean when they say 'shop till you drop'" I said.

They both agreed with me.

After a couple of minutes of resting, Safiya's phone rang, and she walked away to answer it.

She came back after a couple of minutes, and looked at Laila and nodded.

Why did Safiya nod?

"I think we should chill at Sabrina's house, what do you think Safiya?" Asked Laila.

"That's sounds like a good night to me." She replied

"Are you sure? My house is really empty, and we don't have our tv anymore. It'll be boring, don't you think?" I asked

"We'll make it fun. Trust me." Safiya said

I was still skeptical about it, but I decided to go with it.

We got in my car, and traveled to my house.

When we were in the car, I heard Laila on the phone.

"Yeah, we're on our way" she said

"Who's that?" I questioned

"Your mom. She wanted to know what time you were coming home." She answered

"Why didn't she just call me?" I asked suspiciously

"She thought your phone died" Laila said looking down at her phone.

""Okay....." I said, still confused

"But..." I started to talk, but I was cut off by Safiya when she and Laila started to talk about how Ramadan was coming soon.

We arrived at my house, and the front door was locked.

I was looking for my keys to my house, and finally found them.

I opened the doors, and the whole house was pitch black.

"What the heck is this?" I said out loud.

The lights came on, and then I heard

"SURPRISE!" Everyone yelled

My friends and parents came out of their hiding spots.

"A surprise party? For me?" I was still in shock.

"It's like a leaving party." Laila said

"You guys are the best!" I said as I ran to hug my friends.

"Let's get this party started!" Safiya yelled.

The party ended after a couple of hours, and people started leaving.

"Do you guys wanna sleep over at my house?" Safiya suggested

"Yeah!" Laila and I both said

We arrived at her house, and watched movies, talked, and of course ate.

After a couple of hours, we finally slept.

I was defiantly going to miss these sleepovers. I was going to miss the long talks on the phone, and Skype calls with these girls. These girls meant so much to me, and I couldn't believe I was leaving all this behind. I shared so many good memories, and some bad memories with these girls. They knew everything and anything about me, and I could trust them about anything.

How in this world am I going to leave this behind, and make new friends that could compare to them?
