Mohamed's POV

I grabbed an apple, and Amina started talking to me. She asked a question that I knew it was coming, but not so soon.

"Do you like Sabrina?" She asked me.

I was about to lie, and tell her that I had no feelings for her, but Amina knew me too well that she would figure out if I was lying.

How did she even know that I like her? I tried keeping my distance, and leaving no hints today.

"No" I spoke

"Mohamed. Don't lie." Amina said looking at me carefully.

"Yes" I replied back

"Wait, what? You do! You actually do" Amina said clapping her hands.

"Okay sis, don't tell the whole world." I replied back making her stop clapping.

"It's just that she likes you too!" She said, but immediately covered her mouth

"What? She does?" I said as a smiled crept up on my face

"Uhh... I don't know if I was suppose to tell you or not" Amina said rubbing the back of her neck.

"It's okay. Oh my Allah! This is amazing." I said

"Now what are you going to do?" Amina asked

"Do what?" I asked

"With Sabrina duh" she said obviously

"Well, I mean I have to follow the religion, so I could talk to her parents if Sabrina and I could talk after we finish high school." I said

"I think that's a good idea, but don't freak her out with going to fast." Amina suggested.

"What do you mean "going to fast"?" I asked

"I mean you already are thinking about talking to her parents, so go a little bit more slow." She suggested

"Thanks for the help." I said to Amina

"Yeah, I know. I'm the best sister." She beamed.

"Good night" I chuckled as I headed upstairs to my room.

I got ready for bed, and lay down

I wonder if Sabrina thinks about me as much as I think about her. I wonder if she gets butterflies every time I smile at her because that's what happens when she smiles at me. I love how she doesn't care what people think of her, and even if they judge her because of her religion, she stands up for Islam. I love how laughs so carelessly when she is with her friends. I love how she balances her religion and school so perfectly. I love how when she even says "hi" to me, I can still have a smile. She makes me so happy even though I've know her for a couple of weeks. She's everything I've been looking for.

I smiled as I thought about that, as I drifted off to sleep with a smile on my face.
