My Life as a Muslim Girl: Chapter 25-That Sounds Familiar

Sabrina's POV


"Mom, dad I...." I started and took a deep breath.



I took a look at Laila and she gave me a nod. This was it. I was going to tell my parents everything I have been hiding.




"You what" my mom asked




"I.."

Mohamed's POV


I was at home when someone came into my room. It was Zak.


"Hey man, what's up?" I asked


"Go and do it" he said immediately


I looked at him and gave him a confused stare.



"What are you talking about?" I asked


"You know what I'm saying. She's at her house right now. You know what the right thing to do is." He said


"Who?" I asked



"The girl you have been seeing for a while now." he said




This was about Sabrina.



"Tell me what you know." I said


"I know you guys are dating and I also know that you know what the right thing to do is." He added



He knew.



"What should I do?" I asked putting my head down



"Do what you think is right" he said


And with that he left.


"Zak!" I shouted


He looked back and replied back with a "yeah?"



"I'm sorry" I said apolitically


"For what?" he asked


"For taking Sabrina after I knew you liked her" I said



"It's whatever. I think I like her friend now. But save me the relationship advice." he said chuckling


We both laughed, and then I replied back with a "thanks man"


He gave me a nod and left my house.



I went back to my room and thought about what I should do.


I finally came up with something and got up to leave the house.



As I was opening my front door, Amina came behind me.



"Where are you going?" she asked



"To finally make things right with Sabrina" I said


"Don't mess up bro" she replied

I smiled and thanked her.



I walked to her house and rang the doorbell. I can't believe I'm doing this.


Sabrina's POV

"I.." Then I heard the doorbell ring. I let out a sigh that I didn't know I was holding in.



My dad walked over and answered the door.



I hear a familiar voice, and looked over. Surely it was Mohamed.
