Mohamed's POV

I woke up, and for the first time, I was excited to go to school.

I got ready, and headed downstairs where I saw my lovely sister.

"Morning sis" I greeted her

"Brother" she replied.

We ate breakfast, and headed to my car to go to school.

"So, what do you think of Sabrina?" Amina asked

When that name came out of her mouth, a smile was on my face.

"She's alright." I said

But that was a lie. She was more than alright. She was everything you could look for in a girl. But I couldn't think like that. I was really happy with my faith, and I wasn't going to let a girl ruin it.

"So, you don't have feelings for her or anything?" She asked

"Of course not! We're Muslims, and we don't date!" I yelled

"Okay, okay... I was just wondering" Amina said

For the rest of the car ride we were silent.

We entered our school building, and I saw Sabrina putting books in her locker. Amina and I both walked up to her.

"Good morning!" Amina said brightly

"Morning" I added

"Salam" Sabrina greeted back

"Let's head to first period so we can talk about your beautiful outfit" Amina said dragging Sabrina to class.

I observed her outfit, and she was once again dressed modestly.

"Wow" was all I could say.

"What are you wowing about?" My best friend Zak asked as he walked up to me.

"Uhh.. Nothing" I stuttered out

"Alright then" he said confused.

We headed to first period, and got though our class.

After class ended, I was packing up my books, and getting ready to leave.

"Mohamed, can I have a word with you?" Mrs. Harries asked

"Yeah, sure. What's up?" I asked

"Well, since you're one of the best students I have in my class, I would like you to help Sabrina catch up with us, and our lessons. Can you do that for me?" She asked

I didn't even notice Sabrina standing there because she had her head down.

"Yeah, that's fine." I replied

"Thank you Mohamed." She told me

"So when do you want to study?" I asked Sabrina

"Um. We can do it after school, I guess." She said

"Okay, I'll see you later then." I said

I left to my locker to get some things, and all that was going through my mind was the plans after school.

I didn't know that it was going to change everything.
