If it isn't your taste, its bad. That is the common view of everyone. My friend loves Five Finger Death Punch, but when I told him Three Days Grace id life, he said "dude, get some taste." I like my taste, because its my taste. Other people don't have to like it, but keep it to yourselves if you don't like their band. Other peoples views and tastes don't really effect you, so don't let their views effect you. Tell them your favorite band, sure, but don't get into an argument over which band is better. You can't force someone to like something. You may be able to get them to listen to it, but they may not like it. Its ok.
