Chapter 5

You open the door to Alex and Austin standing there with nice jeans and a t-shirt.

You can't help but stand there and stare wide eyed at Austin. He looked great in what he was wearing. I feel like this is a dream and I had to pinch myself to see if I was dreaming. And guess what? I wasn't.

"So are we aloud to come in?" Alex asked in a polite way.

"Oh sorry of course come right on in." I say with nervousness in my voice. I have no clue why I'm nervous. I should be excited. I get to go on a date with the guy I have been dreaming about for like 3 years now. Since shoot us down.

"You look beautiful." Austin whispers in my ear and I can't help but giggle.

"Well you look cute." I say back to him.

"So Alex why don't you introduce me to the girl you have been talking about non stop over there." Austin says and I look over at Alex and Amber to see them both blushing.

"Hey coming from the guy that literally didn't stop talking about Ellie." Alex says coming right back at him.

Now it was my turn to blush. My face turns to a light shade of red unlike Austin's who was tomato red. I'm glad no one noticed my blushing.

"Well this is Amber, Austin. Also known as my best friend." I introduce since it seems like no one else was going to do it.

"Well Amber it is nice to finally meet you. Well how about we get going on our date. We were going to go to olive garden and them roller blading." Austin tells us.

Austin grabs my hand and interlocks our fingers, which I have no problem with.

I look down at our hands and them back at him and we both smile. Oh that smile that is to die for.

We head out to Austin's red range rover and Austin goes to open the passenger side for me and I get in. Alex and Amber go sit in the back seats. I look at them from the corner of my eye and see that there hands ate intertwined too. I smile and wink at her and she does the same back to me.

We start driving to Olive Garden when Say Something starts to play on the radio. Of course Austin has to turn it up louder and start singing to it. We end up all joining in on the little jam out session until the song was over. When it was done we all go out in full blown out laughter.

"T-that was great." Austin says in between laughter.

"I know. This already as started off as the best date ever." I say back to him.

Austin looks at me smile the most gorgeous, happy smile ever.

Austin's pov:

When Ellie said that this has already started off being the best date ever I couldn't help but smile back at her. I feel that this can be the start of something good.

Ellie looks wonderful in the outfit she has on. And those curls are just perfect in her hair. She's really beautiful.

After about 15 minutes I pull into the Olive Garden parking lot. I turn off the car and go to Ellie's side. I know we aren't going out yet but I still interlock my fingers with her. I know this sounds cliche but I feel sparks every time my hand touches hers.

We walk into Olive Garden and immediately were greeted by a waiter.

"Hi party of how many?" The waiter asks.

"Party of 4."

"Right this way Mr. Mahone.

Wow I guess my name had been getting around. I don't want any crazy fans getting in the way of my date tonight with a beautiful girl.

Ellie's pov:

We were escorted to a table right away. The area was a nice quiet area where there were only adults. Seems like the waiter was saving us from obsessed fans.

I sit down and Austin sits down right next to me. He squeezes my knees for comfort. It's cliche, I know, but every time we touch I feel sparks. I hope this isn't a one time thing and that we can hang out more.

"Hey Ellie what are you gonna order?" Amber asks. We usually order the same thing and I guess it was my turn to pick since I guess last time she was the one that picked.

"How about the ribs with a side of fries and a coke?" I suggest.

'Sounds good to me!"

"I'm gonna triple that." Austin says after we decide.

"quadrupole that please." Alex says after Austin.

The waiter comes and takes our order and we all order the same thing. I guess I'm just a great orderer.

I was pulling on my roller blades when someone came up behind me and pulled me over their shoulder.

"Austin! Put me down. Hahaha. I didn't even put, hahaha, on my roller blades." I say in between laughter.

He puts me down on another bench and we continue laughing. I then look into his eyes. Bad idea, I was getting lost. Before I know what is happening the laughter stops and he is leaning in. I feel his soft, warm lips on mine and I kiss back having his lips move in perfect sync with mine. I start feeling fireworks go off and I then know that this isn't just a kiss. It felt special. He pulled back, the kiss ending to quickly.

"Lets go rollerblading Ellie."

I put on my last skate and tie up. I them catch up to Austin on the skating ring where Alex and Amber already were having a blast with each other laughing. Right when I get in the rollerblading ring the couple song comes on. Out of know where Austin is by my side with his hand in mine.

We rollerblade around and I can't help notice how elegant Austin seems to be when he blades. He looked perfect. He was perfect. The couple song ended too quick just as our kiss did. I turn around to see Amber and Alex kissing. I couldn't help but smile. They were so cute together.

Austin drops me and Amber off back at our house. He gets out of the car with Alex and walks us up to our door.

"I had a lot of fun tonight and I hope it's not the last I see of you. I really like you Ellie." Austin says to me.

"I had fun to Austin. And don't worry I'll make time for you. Definitely."

He smiles at me and starts to walk off.

"Wait!" I say.

He comes walking back and that's when I grab him and pull him into another kiss. The second one today. And this one seemed to be better than the first. The sparks I recognize from the first kiss was back and I can here Alex and Amber saying awww but that's all in the background, all I was thinking about was this kiss. I pull back and Austin smiles at me. I smile back.

"Goodnight Austin." I say.

"Night Ellie."
