Chapter 6

I woke up the next morning with Amber just staring at me.

"Can I help you?" I say trying to hold in my laughter. Amber was super weird sometimes.

"Tell me everything. Are you and Austin a couple now?"

"Don't you think it's too soon?"

"I saw you guys kissing. Don't give me that too soon crap."

I could say the same thing about you and Alex. Are you two a thing?"

"Ya he asked me to be his girlfriend and to go on more dates with him, but alone." Amber says looking a little bit to zoned out in fairy tale land.

"Hello earth to Amber, little to soon don't you think?"

"I guess it's only how you feel at the moment."

At about noon I get a text saying for me to meet Austin at the neighborhood park. I quickly slip on my sandals and walk out of the house.

When I arrive at the park I look around for Austin but don't see him anywhere. I'm about to call him when I get a text.

Austin: Go to the foresty part of the park where all the trees are.

I walk the beautiful walk it takes to get to that part of the park. It doesn't take long till I'm over to that side of the park to see Austin with a blanket and a picnic basket in his hand.

"Surprise beautiful." Austin says smiling his shy smile.

"Omg I love it. How did you know I like picnics in the park?" I say with a huge smile on my face.

Austin looked relieve that I liked it.

"I didn't I just wanted to have a special day just for me and you."

"Well it's perfect."

We set up the blanket and basket and dig into the food. It was just any normal picnic foods. Sandwiches, sodas, chips, and cookies. But the unique part of it was it was with Austin.

We talk about our lives. Austin tells me about his before he was famous. How he was just a normal kid with a dream with the help of his best friend Alex and his mama.

I told him about how I live in Florida and he look happy and said he lived in Miami. He looked a little upset when I told him how I lived in Orlando, which was about 3 and 1/2 hours away from him.

"Austin today was just perfect. I'm happy that you had took your time out of your day just for a nice lunch with me."

"Well to me your unique and I'd do anything for a pretty girl like you."

I smile and he smiles back. I look into his eyes and he looks into mine. Austin starts to lean in and so do I. Just as we were about to kiss we were interrupted.

"Austin Mahone!! Is that you? I'm such a huge fan! Omg can I get a picture?" A pretty blonde girl says in a sarcastic tone.

"Jessica? What are you doing here?"

"You know this girl? I say confused.

"Oh ya! We use to date and he use to take me to this exact spot and use to have picnics together all the time." Jessica says.

"You take other people here? I thought this was special."

Austin's pov:

I was just about to kiss Ellie when I heard a familiar voice chime in.

"Austin Mahone!! Is that you? I'm such a huge fan! Omg can I get a picture?"

Omg not Jessica. She's probably here to ruin everything. I wanted this to be perfect so I could ask out Ellie, but good luck to me now.

"Jessica? What are you doing here?" I say nervously hoping she doesn't ruin anything.

Ellie is asking if I knew her and here came the part I was dreading to hear from her.

"Oh ya! We use to date and he use to take me to this exact spot and have picnics together all the time."

I glanced over at Ellie to see that her face dropped. She stood up from where she's was standing.

"You take other people here? I thought this was special."

"Wait, Ellie, I can explain!" But it was too late she was already running off, half way across the park.

"I hope your happy. You probably ruined my chances with one of the best girls ever."

"Oh ya I am. If I don't get you no one else does."

"Jessica that was a one time thing. Before you decided to cheat on me with Mr. Popular Chester. Then you move to Cali. Jessica your a hoebag. Just leave me and my life decisions alone. We are never gonna be together again!"

With that Jessica storms off scoffing. Now I have one more thing to do. Make things right with Ellie. The one girl I think might be right for me
