The Actual Start

Ellie's pov:

Wow. Just wow, is all I could think right now. I thought I was starting to have feelings for Austin, but that clearly is gone now. I thought what he did was special. Sure maybe I'm overreacting a little but still wouldn't you be mad too?

I come storming through the house. I see Amber on the couch watching full house.

"Hey El what's up?! You look totally pissed."

I just ignore her and storm up the stairs. I pull out my phone and go on twitter.

@"victoriaissuper: "I thought I was falling for you. Clearly my thoughts were stuck up my ass!" I tweet hoping Austin sees.

My phone buzzes telling me I got a new text.

Alex:): What happened? Austin storms in his house and wouldn't even talk to me.

Me: I don't want to see that jerk ever again. Clearly he is a player.

Alex:): Damn girl. Calm down. Let him explain. He told me everything just now. You need to work it out.

I get another text this time from Austin.

Austin: please let me explain.

Me: No! I don't want to ever speak to you again.

Austin: come on just let me explain.

Austin's pov:

I texted Ellie to try to explain to her but she doesn't ever want to talk to me. Jessica just screwed everything up. I hope someone beats her ass.

I go on twitter and immediately see Ellie's tweet. My faces drops at it.

Time for plan B

Ellie's pov:

~8 HOURS LATER~

"Ellie! Ellie! Come down stairs quickly!" I hear Amber yells at me, even though she was standing right at the edge of my bed.

I was just sitting in my room listening to music when Amber rudely storms into my room disrupting me.

"Amber, what could be so important that you had to disrupt me from my peaceful music zone?"

"Just come." She says as she grabs my arm. Damn she sounds like someone was getting into a fight outside. But that was far from what it was.

She walks me outside into the night where I see candle lights as Austin, the last person I wanted to see, standing there with a single rose and his red acoustic guitar.

I'm to speechless to even move. So when Austin hands me the rose I just take it and stand there just outside my door when I can just slam the door in his face.

Austin starts strumming chords and starts singing 'Let Me Love You' by Mario.

"Baby I just don't get it. Do you enjoy being hurt. I know you smell the perfume and the makeup on your shirt... You should let me love you. Be the one to hold give you everything you want and need. You should let me love you..."

Austin sings to ever so passionately.

When Austin was done with the song he asked me the question I was half wishing for half wishing not for.

"Ellie, I want to be able to call you mine, to hold you, to kiss you, soo will you please be my girlfriend?"

I just stood there. I really have feelings for this kid. There is no denying it anymore. So I say the thing that only feels right at the moment.

"Yes." It was that simple.

A wash of relief come over Austin and he smiles so big. He puts his guitar down and picks me up and spins me around and kisses me on the forehead.

"Aw that was so cute!" Amber says with a video camera. I totally forgot she was there and now she has the whole thing on video. I just laugh.

"Now can I explain?" Austin asks.

"Sure. Just come inside."

We walk inside and Austin and I sit down on the couch next each other.

"So El, Jessica, yes she is my ex, and yes she always will be. I never will ever have feelings for her again. Plus I took her to that place once but not for a picnic. That part she lied about. It was to break up with her so no one was around to listen. I would never take a girl for a date where I always took an ex that I no longer cared about."

"Austin it's ok! I overreacted."

"No you didn't. I would have been mad too. The way Jessica put it."

"Austin, we are together and that's all that matters!" I say calming him down by putting my hand on his knee and moving my thumb around.

"And I hope it's forever!"
