Chapter 20

*The Next Morning*

"Austin what do you want to do today?" I ask as I walk out of the bathroom, drying my hair with the towel.

"How about we spend time together just you and me? We do only have a couple months till school starts again and we have to go back to Miami."

"Yeah um Austin I don't think I really want to be famous, maybe I will do a couple duets with you, but I don't want to be a big star."

"For real Ellie? Why didn't you tell me before?" Austin asks with a look of disappointment on his face.

"Sorry I kinda just thought up of it."

"Whatever." Austin rolls his eyes at me.

"Austin don't get mad at me, it's what I want; you can't just control every aspect of my life." I was getting mad by the second. Like I mean really who does he think he is? I can do what I want; I don't need a critical boyfriend that controls me.

"You know what come to think of it I think I will hang with Alex today; haven't seen him in a while."

"Typical." I say more to myself than him. Apparently he heard me.

"What's that suppose to mean?"

"Um I'm gonna go now."

"You can't just run away from all your problems in life."

"I've been running from my problems? Austin I'm pregnant at sixteen and I've gone through hell including a break up with you. I'm far from running from my problems if anyone is then it's you. We are fighting for a stupid reason and I don't need this."

"You're right Els I'm sorry I just want you by my side every second of the day."

"I understand." I go over to him and kiss the top of his forehead. "But how about we spend time alone with our friends instead of each other. I promise tonight will be for us." I grab my car keys and start to walk out the door but before I can I'm stopped and pushed against the wall with Austin placing a passionate kiss on my lips.

"Have fun today, but not too much fun." Austin says with a wink and just like that our fight is dropped. All the tension between us has eased.

*At Amber's House*

I walk into Amber's house which is still completely and utterly dark.

"Amber I'm home." No answer. I walk up the stairs to where Amber sleeps and open the door. Right when I open the door I think my eyes have burned and I have become blind because I have opened the door to Amber and Alex in bed together doing the nasty.

"Ugh guys!" I scream and slam the door.

I walk into my room and jump onto my bed. A minute later Amber and Alex walk in.

"Sorry 'bout that." Alex smirks. Amber hits him and comes to sit next to me.

"That was awkward." I moaned.

"Eeeeemmmbbbaaarrreesssiiinnnggg." Amber sang.

"I just wanted to hang out today." I whined.

"Yup I just got a text saying you ditched Austin and that he wants me to come over."

"Ha I ditched Austin." That boy was gonna get it tonight.

"Ima go." Alex walks over to Amber and gives her a light kiss on the lips before walking out the door.

"I have a great idea. Let's hang with Chase and Xander today!" I exclaim in excitement.

"OOO that would be fun. Text him."

I text Chase asking if he wants to hang and sure enough he does. I text him the address and he says he will come with Xander in about 15 minutes. We wait out the 15 minutes sitting on my bed on twitter.

*fan: Who's Chase and Xander?

*fan: Are you cheating on Austin.

*Fan: @AustinMahone Ellie is cheating on you

@AustinMahone: Don't worry guys Chase and Xander are a gay couple. Just our friends. Calm your tits or dicks. Probably all tits tho.

Austin's comment made me laugh out loud and apparently Amber saw it because she was laughing next to me too. When Amber and I calm down I hear the doorbell indicating the boys were here.

"Yay they are here!" I jump up and run to the stairs, maybe a little too fast because next think I know I'm sliding down the stairs on my butt.

"Nice going Sherlock." Amber laughs at the top of the stairs.

"Shut up."

I go and open the door and greet Chase with a hug and Xander with a hand shake.

"Ha El was so excited to see you she slid down the staris on her butt." Amber says still laughing.

Chase and Xander just smirk. "What are the plans today?" Where is the bf?"

"Oh not here it will be just us."

"Oo let's go ice skating!" The smart Amber exclaims.

"Honey we don't go ice skating in the summer. Who's the Sherlock now?"

"Whatever." Amber jokingly rolls her eyes.

"Let's go to Great America." Chase offers

"O E Eme I totes forgot we had season passes! Let's go!" I yell running for the door. Everyone decided to just pile in my car and off we go for the 20 minute drive to Great America.

Once we get there and are all parked up we head to the lines which seem to be not that crowded today. I look at my iPhone to see that it was only 10:30. Lucky we got here early because earlier the better right? We head right on in; it only takes about two minutes.

"I want to ride Gold Striker first!" I run toward the ride with everyone closely behind. I'm so happy to see that there is no line but just a few people and we basically are at the top of the ride in no time. We are even lucky to get first and second row. I sit next to Chase for a change in the first row and Amber and Xander in the second row. The ride starts and I'm surprise to see how fast it goes. It has the highest drop and is the fastest ride in the park. As we go down I scream but know there is a camera at the bottom so I make a funny face. The ride last about a minute and a half. When we finish I run to the bottom to see my picture.

"I want to buy one." I say to the worker there who doesn't seem much older than me.

"Anything for a cutie like you." The guy winks.

Amber notices and leans over to me and whispers, "Does that happen often?"

"Too often." I relpy. We all buy a picture to savior the memory of all of us on Gold Striker for the first time. As the day progresses the lines get longer and it gets hotter so we decide to leave around 4:30.

When we get home we all go our separate ways and agree on doing this some other time. I decide on going to check on Austin and Amber comes along since Alex is with him. When we arrive I see Mama Mahone isn't home yet and the door unlocked. Everything seems to be quiet and dark when I walk in.

"Austin, Alex?" I yell up the stairs. There was no answer so Amber and I just walk up the stairs to Austin's room. I open his bedroom door to see Alex and Austin lying on the floor all bloody and unconscious. All I can muffle is a scream and I hear Amber screaming with me.
