[27] His Last Words

Obi-Wan

His throat strained as he tried to speak, and, with tears welling in your eyes, you gripped his hand and peered at him desperately.

'The children,' he choked out. 'Watch over them,'

'Obi-Wan, don't do this. You can't leave,' you managed, grip tightening as you felt the tears spill. 'You need to tell me what to do. I can't- I can't do it alone.'

Anakin Skywalker

'You made me do this, Anakin,' you sobbed, clutching a handful of his dark attire as the life drained out of him, his yellowed eyes fading back to their usual colour. 'Why did you make me do this? I loved you so much,'

'I did it to protect you,' he managed, grabbing at the wound though his side where your saber had pierced through him. 

'Who am I, Anakin? I'm nobody! You've destroyed the entire Jedi council. And for what? For what? Why would you do this to me?'

'Who are you?' He grinned stupidly, his eyes faded. 'You were my entire world; my reason behind everything I ever did.'

Luke Skywalker

'I'm not ready to go, (Y/N),' Luke had a terrified look in his eyes, and it broke your heart. You tried to refrain from crying, but the tears were already there.

'I'm so sorry, Luke,' you whispered. 'You weren't supposed to die. It was supposed to be the other way round,'

'I'd never let that happen,' he coughed. 'I love you, (Y/N). Please don't forget me.'

Han Solo

'Chewie! Don't just stand there, do something!' You screeched, watching as the love of your life bled out, clutching his side as he leant against the wall with a pale face. 'Oh god, oh god, please don't do this,'

'Forget it, Chewie,' Han ushered. 'We'd never make it in time.'

'Don't you dare give up on me!' You yelled, reaching for Han as his legs wobbled. He fell to the floor, eyes rolled back. The wall was stained with a streak of blood, and it began pooling around his body as he collapsed in a heap. With a yelp, you fell to his side and pressed against his wound, but he was completely unresponsive. Unconcious. Dying.

'Don't do this to me,' you sobbed. 'Please, Han. Oh god, oh god, what I am going to do? Wake up! Wake up, Han!'
