No End

Brendan

The guy had been sitting on my bed. He didn't look like he had done anything else, all my possessions were still there and in the same place I remember, so everywhere. He began to stand up and out of habit I put my arms up for protection. He began to move his arm and I thought he was going to take a swing at me. I dropped onto my knees in complete terror, and yes I know now that I probably overreacted a smidge...

He then spoke out, "um... This is awkward... I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. You're Chad right?" I looked up at him and saw he had his hand out. Through shaken hands, I cautiously took his and he pulled me to my feet. In response to his question I nodded awkwardly. "Ok cool. Well my name's Brendan. I don't know if your parents told you anything about this, but I'm your new brother." My face probably showed how shocked I was because the next thing he said was, "yeah I'll take that as 'they didn't'." After that he quietly observed me. I felt like an animal at the zoo or some sort of museum piece. I began to look him up and down as well. "Might as well so it's not so awkward for me," I thought.

He had short, spiky hair that was almost black. His eyes were a honey color which was very different to me. He was pretty opposite in appearance from me, with my medium length, styled hair, that I can never tell if it's a light brown or a dirty blond, and gray-blue eyes. He was tall. Probably had a good half foot height to me. That's when I noticed that he was wearing my clothes. My jeans and my favorite shirt with a hoodie and pockets. Surprisingly they fit him considering his height. Probably because my clothes are hand-me-downs from friends or family friends so they never quite fit me right in the first place. It's not that my parents never buy my clothes. I just like free clothes better even though we live pretty well. I stopped growing at only about 5'10" last year so all my friends just give me their clothes.

I've gotten off track again.
