To all humanity's worshipers, these are the misfits speaking. We are demonic and dangerous to all human race. We will destruct, and kill thou and bathe in your blood. Someday we will rule, and it's going to be gruesome.

All of this feels like an illusion to me. I don't know how I got here, or when, all I know is that I have a purpose in life. I still don't know what that purpose is though, they haven't told me yet.

Around me, I hear hushed voices, they're everywhere. I try to look at the owner of the voices, but as hard as I try, I simply cannot. Why you may ask? Well, I've been simply trying to open them for the past half hour, but they won't budge, they're shut firmly. Where am I?

"When the boy is awake, I want you to call me immediately before he starts asking questions."

"Don't worry sir, all of them are suffering from memory loss."

"So they don't remember anything about their past lives?"

"No, not at all sir."

Who are these people? And what are they talking about? By the sound of their voices, I can perfectly tell that there was a man and a woman speaking to each other. My head hurts, and I don't know what's going on. What do they mean exactly about their 'test subjects' and their 'previous lives'? My head pounds again. I should stop over-thinking about this situation.

"It seems that he is waking up."

"Should I go call the professor?"

"No, just wait for a moment."

And with that, everything turned blurry, and my entire body feels numb. I don't know how much time it took for me to recover from that state, but when it did, my entire vision was clear. And the first thing that I saw, were two women, both dressed in some sort of lab coats with a clipboard in each of their hands. And I'm lying on a white bed, with machines attached to me.

I try to sit up, but to my dismay, pain strikes from my forehead, and that leaves me grunting and lie back in my spot.

"I see that you're awake, careful now, you don't want to cause yourself pain now do you?" one of the women tell me.

"Wh-e-re a-m I?" I stutter.

The woman looks at me, and smiles softly. "It doesn't really matter where you are. All that matters right now, is that you're safe under our protection."

I furrow my eyebrows. Safe? From what exactly? I don't remember anything that happened before this moment, trust me, I'm really trying to but everything just seems blank.

"I'm sorry, but who are you and how did I get here?"

She stays quiet while unplugging the wires from my arms. When she finishes her task, she just replies. "When he arrives, he's going to be the one who will tell you everything."

He? Does she mean that man's voice that I heard earlier?

"When the test subject is awake, I want you to call me immediately before he starts asking questions"

I remember his voice perfectly, as if I already have encountered that voice. But unlucky for me, I don't remember anything, I don't even remember my name.

My thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door. One woman opens the door, revealing a man not less than fifty years old.

"Ahh, I see that the boy is awake."

All I do is just stare at the man.

"My name is Dr. Howard, and I've been advised to protect your kind from the outside world."
