The Auditions ~Chapter Three~

Diana's POV

This is it... Why on Earth did I think I could do this?! My nerves are shot fromf that guy do magic and now I have to go on stage in front of Howard Stern, Heidi Klum, Mel B and Howie Mandel.... How am I supposed to do this????

"Diana, Just breathe you're going to do amazing!" Kaylee says while hugging me tight

"This is insane.." I turn around and walk onstage to my spot and hear tons of cheering

"Hello!! What's your name and how old are you?" Mel B asks sweetly

"Diana... and I'm 16 years old...." I say shakily

"What are you going to be doing for us today?" Howard asks

"I'm going to be singing If I Could Fly by One Direction" I Say softly while holding my guitar

"Love that song, Go on when you're ready" Heidi smiles

When I start... Everything just vanishes, It feels like i'm just singing and playing in my room or for Kaylee... This is going to work....

Kaylee's POV

I felt a tap on my shoulder and then I turn around and see Collins and his family standing there.

"Erm.... Is it okay if we stand back here with you to watch? If not that's totally fine! It's just once you do a magic trick for someone you start to feel some sort of personal connection. Getting inside someone's mind makes you feel connected..." Collins trails off.

"Yeah, that's fine. I'm sure Diana wouldn't mind it." I smile at all four of them

After I turn around to watch, Diana starts playing. I've never been so jealous but proud at the same time. What I would do to have her voice. I mean she says the same to me all the time but still.... She is phenomenal. My grandma is with us and she absolutely LOVES this song.

"Wow.." Collins and his brother say at the same time, I still need to find out his name...

"She's good, I know." I reply without even having to look at them

"Good is an understatement... She's definite competition for you bro." His brother pats Collins back

"Shut up Devan I'm trying to listen" Collins pushes his hand away. Well..I guess I know his name now..

After Diana finishes the crowd errupts with applause and On the TV I see Heidi, Mel B and Howie stand and clap.

"Who knew that kind of voice could come out of someone as small as you!!" Mel B beamed.

"You said you're 16 ???" Howard asked

"Yes sir... I am" Diana was almost in tears

"Well i'm going to be the first to say... I absolutely want to see more of your talent in our competition. Howie?" Everyone turns their glances to Howie

"Well let me start with this. We always see hopefuls come to the auditions and it seems they haven't worked on their act as much as I can see that you have. You want to do this for the rest of your life don't you?" She is in full fledge tears now

"Yeah... This is everything to me... Thank you.." She smiles while Crying.

"Well I think we can take a unanimous vote...On the count of 3?"

"1"

"2"

"3"

"WE WILL SEE YOU IN VEGAS!" Everyone stands up and cheers again and I'm crying backstage
