The Hospital ~Chapter Eleven~

Diana's POV

This was not something I had planned on happening anytime soon... I am going to see my mom In the ICU unit at the hospital.. But I won't be seeing my dad..Not until the viewing this weekend...

As we pull up to the hospital I stay sat in the back of the car. Kaylee, Devan and Collins all get out and Collins comes to my side of the car

"Come on babe.. You have to come out eventually" He puts his hand out for me to grab

I get out of the car slowly and we all four walk into the lobby of the hospital

"Hello, How may I help you?" the receptionist asks

"Hi... I'm looking for an Elaine Halpert In ICU.... I'm her daughter." I say shakily not looking up at her

"Oh.. she's in room 353 " She says sympathetically

We all head over that way and stop right outside the door

We all walk in and I see her... I Lose it and fall to my knees by her side

Collins Helps me up and helps me into a chair

"Babe, It's going to be okay.. Just talk to her. We'll be right outside the door." He says kissing my forehead

I stare after them as they leave and watch the door for a good three minutes.

"Hi mom...." I say trying to compose myself

"I know you can probably not hear me but I can't believe this happened.... Please don't leave me.. You're the only one I have left.. There's also some people I would like you to meet... My best friend that helped plan for you to drive to New York...Her boyfriend Devan who is one of my close friends and.... My Boyfriend... Collins. He's Devan's brother. But You can't leave me here If you go I have to go. I made it to America's Got Talent.. I'm on the Live shows now... I just want you to be able to see me... I need you mom... Please.." I hold her hand and cry 

As I am about to begin another sentence the machines she's attached to start going crazy. 

I run to the door and yell for a nurse

Once the nurse comes in she ushers me out of the room 

"What happened?" Kaylee asked as they all crowded around me

"I don't know... I was just talking to her and i held her hand and was crying that's it.." I cried

Collins brings me into a long hug and I cry on his chest

After about 15 minutes a nurse comes out and tells us that we can go back in and she has a smile on her face.

We hesitantly walk back in 

"Mom!!!" I Run to her side and she's awake

"Sweetie, It's okay I'm here." She says weakly

"Mom.. I can't believe I almost lost you.." I grab her hand

"So are these the ones you were telling me about?" she says gesturing to Kaylee, Devan and Collins

"You heard me?" I ask looking down at her

"Of course I heard you" She smiles weakly

"Well, Yes, This is Kaylee, My best friend. This is Devan my other close friend and Kaylee's Boyfriend and this... Mom, This is Collins... My boyfriend." I say pulling him closer

"Hello Mrs. Halpert. It's nice to finally meet you.. Not in the best circumstances but It's nice to meet you nonetheless" He puts his hand on top of hers

"It's so lovely to meet all of you, Thank you for caring for Diana while she's been away" She says tearing up

"Now you, You make sure to treat her with the utmost respect that she deserves and always keep her happy. Then you and I will be smooth sailing" She smiled at him 

" Yes Ma'am. I couldn't bear to treat her any other way. She deserves the best" He smiles and kisses my forehead

We spend a little bit more time with my mom and right as we were about to leave she calls out to me

"Diana, I know about your father.. He loved you and you know that. Collins.. Please care for her like he did. She needs a good guy in her life. You seem to be a great one.. Please just take care of my princess. I will see you at home hopefully. But I will see you on my TV screen first " She smiles and waves weakly

"I love you mom.." I say to her trying to hold back tears as we walk through the door

"See.. that wasn't so bad? Was it?" Collins asked rubbing my back

"No.. I just didn't expect her to wake up." I say grabbing onto his hand

We all head back to the hotel to get settled into our room

Soon enough we would be performing on stage at Radio City Music Hall..

This is going to be one hell of a journey.
