The Plan ~Chapter Five~

Diana's Pov

It's now been a few weeks since our auditions and it's almost time to head to Vegas. The only problem is... I haven't picked my song yet...

"Kaylee, I'm freaking out.. what am I supposed to do ? I haven't chosen my song yet and It's almost time to leave." I say while pacing around the room

" Dee, just calm down. Collins said he would help you right? Give him a call and see what he says? It's always worth a shot." she replies back while packing up her suitcases. (Yes suitcases because she brings way too much for her hair and makeup)

"I can't just call him! I haven't really talked to him since the auditions.." I look away

"WHAT?! Why?? I thought you liked him.." She immediately stops packing and comes to sit by me

" I never said that I did like him.. Collins and I met and that's it. Doesn't mean anything. We are competitors. Nothing more." I deny

"Dee, You're impossible you know that right? I can see it whenever I mention Devan... As if you're hoping he says that Collins has asked about you. Like you're broken because you haven't talked to him. You do like him and it's a lot I can see it Dee, why don't you just admit it?" she rubs my back

"Because Kaylee!! I'm not interested in Love right now. That is not my biggest worry! My biggest worry right now is this show. I don't need a guy. I don't need Collins. That's it alright?! " I yell

"Dee, just calm down and let's just finish packing. " she says quietly going back to folding her clothes to put in her suitcase

Kaylee's POV

I feel really bad for Diana, like everyone could see it. Mom even asked me about it once when Dee was asleep. Everyone sees it. Whenever I talk to Devan he constantly asks if Diana has messaged Collins and I always have to tell him no or I don't know.

" Hey Dee, I'm gonna go and make a phone call alright? Just continue packing and I'll be back in a minute" I walk out, phone in hand

After a few rings he finally picks up

"Hey Kaylee!!" Devan says happily into the receiver

"Hey Dev. I have a quick question..." I say hesitantly

"Anything love, what's going on?" he starts to sound more concerned than before

"How is Collins doing? Is he alright?" I ask

"Uhm... Yeah... I guess he's alright. He's been moody lately though. Not sure why. Why do you ask?" he questions

" Well... Diana's been having some trouble picking a song for Vegas week and I suggested her asking Collins like he had offered and she freaked out. I know she hasn't spoken with him since auditions.." I stated.

"Yeah.. Now that you mention it That could be the reason.. Are you girls still In LA ? at home? " I could hear some rustling of papers in the back

"Yeah but we are leaving in the morning.. Why.. what do you have in mind?" I questioned

"Well ... what if I bring Collins over there and and we lock them in a room together and make them talk?"  he suggested

"You think it will work?" I asked hesitantly

"I don't know but.. we could give it a shot? Plus I'll get to see you" I can hear his smile through our call

"That's always a plus " I smile and look toward the door again

"Well I better get  back to Dee before she freaks out" I sigh

"Alright see you in a bit?" He asks hopeful
