LUKE?!?!

When I woke up the next morning before my freinds and family (they all sleep in) I went into the kitchen and there was Luke all shirtless, making coffe and stuff like he owned the place. I tip toed quietly into the kitchen I was sure I was making no noise until he said something.

"You are no ninja Rae," Luke said. I laughed and told him that I was aware of my non ninjaness. I got some coffee then grabbed the sugar and creamer.

"Got enough cream," Luke asked.
"As a matter of fact I do not." I am one of those people who like their cream and sugar with a touch of coffee. I poured a little more cream in then grabbed a spoon to stir it all together. We stood there silently just listening to each other breath. I stood at the counter just sipping away at my coffee then Luke comes up behind me and hugs me from behind. He slouched in order to rest his chin on my shoulder. I set my coffee down then I turned around not so gracefully to face him and he didn't remove his arms so we just stood there swaying slightly looking deeply into each others eyes. We both started leaning in....

"MAAAARRRYY MEEEE!!" All of my friends started to sing until they laughed so hard they couldn't breathe. I started laughing too and after a moment Luke joined in. After we all finished laughing I made breakfast for everyone. I missed being home. As I cooked I wondered what it would be like if I were to move back to Marion but I quickly pushed that thought aside knowing my life was in Louisiana.

****skip to later at concert***

I finally talked Luke into letting me take Tori and Melissa to the concert, Sarah had to work so she couldn't come.

We were standing backstage all dancing like idiots while Luke was singing. After Luke sang his last song he called Dixie back on stage and they did a cover duet of "Don't You Wanna Stay" orginal ly by Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson. We all cheered as they finished and bowed. I ran to Dixie and squeezed the life out of her (not literally). I was so proud of my baby sister! After I hugged her I ran to Luke.

"Comin in hot Cowboy!" I warned. He spread his arms bracing himself and I jumped into his arms and he spun me around he stopped and I went for it. I leaned in not taking no for an answer and kissed him.

I heard my friends cheer in the background but I didn't pull away I indulged in this moment that I have been waiting for. After we pulled apart both of our checks were red from our friends being embarrassing.
We all laughed. Tori and Melissa left a few minutes later and I followed Dixie into her dressing room.

"What was that Ivy?" Dixie asked.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

She laughed. "I saw you getting all steamy with Mr Lukey out there!" I laughed at that.

"We almost kissed this morning but yall interrupted us with your song!"

Dixie started laughing again and so did I. We both fell on the floor and we're just laughing. After we calmed down she changed and I stayed on the floor too lazy to get up.

"I don't know what I'm gonna do when the tour is over." I told Dixie.

"Why not?"

"I probably won't see Luke after this."

"Don't worry it will work out I promise," Dixie informed me.

"No I mean I don't think I'm gonna finish the tour. I want to go back to Louisiana and finish school this semester then move back home."

Dixie looked at me like I had just grown a second head. "What?!"

"That's my decision and it's final I will be saying goodbye to Luke before you leave in the morning."
