Ivy Rae's POV

Luke and I smiled at each other this is a dream come true I have always wanted to meet him and childishly wanted to marry him. I shook the thought as he said something I didn't catch.
"What was that?" I asked him.
"I said you are beautiful." I blushed but tried to hide it by being witty.
"Well darn Luke I thought I was your good lookin girl. When did I down grade?" I would much rather be his good lookin girl than just beautiful even though either works I just gotta make him prove himself.
"Honey I would never degrade you in anyway shape or form on purpose." I didn't say anything I just let my blush shine through.
"My oh my your so good lookin hold yourself together like a pair of book ends-" Luke began to sing but I cut him off.
"You may serenade me but it may not be to any songs but your own honey."
"Why not?" He asked.
"Don't question me," I gave him a look.
"Yes ma'am."
With that I walked off to find Dixie who had walked off at some point during Luke and I's little....ummm...thing that just happened. I found her in the kitchen and had to tell her everything her everything.

Luke's POV

"Don't question me," Ivy told me. She's so gorgeous.
"Yes ma'am." I told her and with that she turned and left. I couldn't help but have She's Country by Jason Aldean run through my head. Good LORD I need a break for touring everything always comes back to song lyrics!!! I might wanna go find her though we have to make sure she is all packed, which by the looks of her room she isn't I wonder why she hasn't packed yet? I know Dix didn't tell her I was coming to pick her up but I thought she knew she was coming....maybe not. I walked up to the kitchen threshold to hear Ivy.
"I have no idea why I told him not to question me I just needed an excuse to get out of there," my heart sank until I heard what she said next "I had to come tell you everything I really like him Dix and not just cause he Luke Bryan it's because he's so sweet and I feel like he cares it's just I can't get too close I can't get hurt I can't let myself go through that again."

"Go thru what again?" I thought.
"LUKE! How long have you been standing there?!" Ivy hollered at me. I must have said that out loud....crap!!
