You were here before Thomas. Before Gally, before Chuck. You were fairly old.

Until Gally comes along, he thought he knew how to get you out of the Maze but he didn't. He loved to think he was in charge but he wasn't. It was Ably, then Newt, then you.

God forbid someone breaks half a rule. If you could banish him, you would jump at the first chance.

So when Thomas comes along, scared shitless, Gally becomes more of more of an asshole.

When you first come into the Maze, when someone mentions the Maze, of course, you wanna know what it is, so Thomas was a bit curious. But who wouldn't be?

You just woke up in a box with no memory of who you are, or where you are to find out that you are in a maze with people you don't know.

It's pretty scary.

Thomas was assigned with the last Greenie, Chuck, who was like everyone's little brother.

But he couldn't keep Thomas from exploring. You watched from the distance.

So when he explored the Glade, you let him, it's good to know where you're going to be stuck for the rest of your life.

But when he looks in the Maze and Gally comes over and shucking throws him across the ground, you establish some stability.

"Hey!" you yelled at Gally, shoving him away from Thomas. "Stop being an asshole!"

Thomas gets up ans goes over to Gally like he's about to punch him but you step in front of him.

"Thomas, stop."

His brown eyes stare into yours, and his face contracts, as if relaxing.

"Just because you think you're in charge doesn't mean you can boss me around." Gally says from behind you.

"You know what Gally if you don't shut up, I'm going to stick my foot so far up your-"

"Y/n." Thomas says, basically holding you back.

Thomas cut his arm when Gally pushed him so you went and helped patch him up.

You pulled the peroxide from the cabinet, along with some bandages. You poured it on a cotton ball before dabbing it on his cut as he stared at you.

"Why are you staring?" You asked as you put the bandage on it.

"You look.." he trailed off, still staring at you. "Familiar."

You stared at him, seeing all his feature feel like you've seen them before.

You two sit in silence for a little while just looking at each other. "Thank you for earlier."

"Not a problem. I would banish his slinthead before anyone, Tommy." You smile, starting to leave.

"Tommy?"

"Tommy, now get some sleep Greenie, it's been a long day."

You close the door behind you.

Tommy.
