I Couldn't Save Her// Stiles

You gasped as you fell to the ground, a sword wound to your chest. Before you hit the ground, someone's arms wrapped around you, preventing you from hitting the ground.

"Y/n, no, no." Scott cried over you.

"I'm okay, it's okay." You gasped, smiling at your best friend. You felt this dull pain in your chest, making your body feel numb.

"Y/n, I can't take your pain." Scott cried, grasping your hand.

"That's because it doesn't hurt."

"No, no, you can't. You have to stay strong," Scott cried. "Someone call 911!"

You started falling out of consciousness but you opened you eyes, staring into Scott's eyes.

"You have to tell him, you have to tell Stiles. You have to tell him that I love him, I love him so much. I love you Scott, keep him safe," you gasped. "You have to tell Stiles."

Suddenly, all the pain went away. It was like a light washed over you, making everything so numb. You couldn't do anything. You were gone, you were dead.

Stiles POV

I jumped out of the jeep, running to the roof. Everyone was okay, they had to be. I skipped some stairs, gripping my bat tighter in my hand.

I bust out the door to the roof, seeing y/n's body lying in Scott's arms.

"Scott? Scott, what's happening? What's going on?" I said, the bat dropping from hands, clattering to the ground. "Wh-what happened?"

He sniffed over her body, crying. "I couldn't save her."

"No," I said, stepping back, my back hitting the wall. "No."

She couldn't be gone. She can't be gone.

She was my everything. My light. My motivation. And now she was gone. She was gone. I held my face in my hands as I cried.

Everything I ever had, I ever loved was ripped away from me. I sobbed in my hands, seeing Scott carry her body away.

She was gone. She was gone and I couldn't save her.

I grabbed my bat and stumbled down the stairs, wiping my face and taking a deep breath.

I had to tell her dad. I had to do it.

It's the least I could do.
