"C'mon Dyl take a picture!" You squealed at the brown eyed boy.

"Y/n, really I don't wanna take a picture." He frowned, pulling his hand from yours.

"Dylan, you're going to be famous and have a camera in your face 24/7, you're taking a freaking picture with me."

"Fine." He grumbled, pulling the neon glasses from his face.

You gave the camera to your mom, putting an arm around Dylan's waist, his on your hip. You grinned, Dylan forcing a smile.

You heard the camera click, letting go of Dylan and taking your camera back.

"Dylan, what's the matter with you?"

"Nothing." He shrugs.

"C'mon." You slipped your hand in his.

"We only have one summer left," he says, looking into your eyes. "We're going to different colleges, I won't see you anymore and I don't know if I can leave you."

You pulled him closer by his hands.

"Leaving you would be like leaving a piece of me behind, I love you y/n and I can not go to col-"

You stood on your tippy toes and pressed your lips to his.

You two have been bestest friends for the longest but you two have never been romantically involved.

So when you kissed him, it was a sense of reassurance for him.

You heard the camera click as you pulled away.

"Mom!" You groaned, hiding your face in his chest.

She grinned and turned and walked away.

"I have a surprise for you." You pulled the envelope from your bag, handing it to him.

He furrowed his eyebrows as he opened it and pulled out the papers. His eyes widen as he started to read.

"Congratulations to y/f/n y/l/n, for being accepted to UCLA!" he yells. "We get to go to college together??"

He picks you, spinning you around before setting you on the ground.

"You waited for that entire speech to tell me?" He asks.

"I only did it to kiss you."

"Oh yeah."

"Totally."

He leans forwards and presses his lips back onto yours.

"I bet."
