Chapter Seven: I'm Not Fucking Him Or Anything

Lucas and I have been studying every day of this week after practice, and we both agreed to take breaks on the weekend. And it is Saturday, which is a blessing.  He was getting a lot better, but it's only been a week and he has to learn way to much in the next two weeks. 

Right now, I am with Katelyn and Annabelle. I guess you could say we are having a 'girl's day out', but we don't do all the girly stuff like paint each others nails, gossip, and snuggle up together. We play video games and eat pizza, just how I like it. 

"But, Ethan should have called!", Katelyn whined taking another bite out of her pizza. 

"My brother will come around.", Anna said. 

"You guys are brother and sister, did he come home last night?", she asked. She shook her head, "Ever since Daniel and I had that thing.... He hasn't come home ever since."

"What was that thing about anyways?", I asked, unpausing our game. 

"The real question here is, what is going on with you and Lucas?", she said smirking as Katelyn began to howl (yes, howl). "You've been to his house like every night this week! There has to be something going on."

"I'm tutoring him. I'm not fucking him or anything.", I said rolling my eyes at her. 

"That's not what I heard.", they both said in unison. 

"And what did you exactly hear?", I asked. 

"That you are hooking up with him.", Anna said. I threw a pillow at her, smacking her right in the face. "Besides, doesn't he have a girlfriend?"

Katelyn shook her head, "He just fucks and dumps, trust me. I was one of those fools." 

"You dated Lucas?", I asked, giving her big eyes. She nodded, "Not really date. We just kissed and stuff and yeah. He broke up with me in like a week."

"Did you have anything with him?", I looked toward Anna, who nodded. "Am I the only one who hasn't dated this kid?" 

We all nodded and continued to eat our pizza. "Well, I'm gonna leave. I have to find out where Ethan is.", Anna said,"I'll come with. You good?, Katelyn asked. I nodded and waved for them to leave. 

They left, leaving me in my room with my pizza and video games. My phone began to ring with a Jumpman by Drake ringtone, Daniel. 

"Yeller?", I answered. 

"Zoe, I need some help.", Daniel said with an uneasy tone.

"Daniel, what is going on?", I asked pausing my game, once again. 

"I'm in some trouble here with some guys. Can you come down to the park real quick?", he asked. 

So, most of you think a park is for little children to come and play, letting parents be stress free. 

Well, not here. The 'park' is for druggies, dealing, doing, and the rest of the stupid shit. And Daniel sometimes gets caught up in that shit, and I'm the one that has to come to the rescue. 

"Daniel, this is the damn last time I am doing this. Got it?", I said putting on a pair of shoes. 

"Okay, thank you.", we both hung up the phone and I rushed out of my room.

I arrived at the park at least five minutes after Daniel called me. I saw him sitting on the bench all alone.
