I woke up to an empty bed again. I heard Lucas doing something out there, but I was too tired to wake up.
Tomorrow is when we are supposed to go home, and I actually enjoyed it here.
When I got enough strength to get out of bed, I walked out of the bedroom.
"I would definitely get used to seeing you like that everyday." I heard Lucas say as I walked into the kitchen. He was talking about my sports bra, but I honestly didn't care. I wear a sports bra around the guys all the time, so he is just going to have to get used to it.
"Did you make any food?" I asked.
"I ordered pizza." He said. I looked over to what he was doing, pull ups.
"Perfect." I said walking over to him. I pushed him away from the bar, grabbing it.
"What are you doing?" He asked out of breath.
"What does it look like?" I asked pulling up. "Never seen a girl beat you before?"
He just laughed, giving me that to die for smile. He bent down, starting to do sit ups. I began to hum as I did atleast 20 pull-ups. I jumped down from the bar, Lucas staring at me.
"Don't tell anyone, you know. About Kyle." He said getting a towel to wipe off his sweat.
"I won't. It will be our secret." I said walking over to my bag that I brought.
"That's the reason why I go from girl to girl." He began. "Because I don't ever want to be home, seeing my father trying to figure out money problems, Kyle being sick and talking to hallucinations, it hurts me."
"I understand." I said nodding. "But you can't avoid that forever."
"I will try." he said nodding. "You got problems?"
"Your problems are far more worse than mine." I said laughing.
"Just tell me." He said staring at me. It kind of felt like he was staring into my dark soul.
Haha, not really, but it was weird.
"I'm trying to find the right college to play basketball. But I haven't even found a 'perfect' one. It's frustrating, and the whole thing with my brother on drugs just tops it off." I said putting my hand on my hip and closing my eyes.
"I talked to him, about it a while ago." He said.
"And?" I said, letting him continue.
"Oh, I can't tell you that. It was a man oh man conversation. Women aren't aloud to know those type of things." He said getting up off the floor.
"LUCAS! I am his damn sister, I need to know." I said furiously.
"Ella, come on. I can't tell you!" He whined.
"Please." I paused. "All I want to know is that if he is okay."
"He is fine, just staying with a some friends until he gets back on his feet again." He said putting a hand on my shoulder.
I pushed it off and walked into the bedroom. I grabbed my phone, falling back onto the bed. Lucas following and doing the same thing.
"Why are you following me?" I asked scrolling through Instagram.
"Wanna hear a pick-up line?" He said wiggling his eyebrows.
"Give it your best shot." I said smirking.
"Is that a phone in your back pocket? Because I hear that ass calling me." He said as I busted out in laughter.
"I know why they call it a beaver, because I'm dying for some wood." I said smiling as he almost fell off the bed.
