I stayed for dinner at the Pierce's home because Samantha (Lucas' mom) begged me too. They had their own personal chef, which was really awesome. I decided to start studying Lucas before dinner so we walked through 2 flights of stairs.

"Are your parents millionaires?", I said as he opened his door to his room. He nodded and I walked in. His room had posters everywhere, Michael Jordan, LeBron James, Steph Curry, and Larry Bird. But beneath the posters, his walls were dark blue and his carpet was the most fluffiest carpet I ever felt in my life. He had a king sized bed, a bookshelf with at least 1000 books, a big desk with a mac book.

"So this is my man cave.", he said jumping onto the bed. I just stood in front of the bed, still admiring the room.

"You can sit on the bed, I'll sit on the swivel chair.", he said getting off the bed and walking over to his desk. He grabbed his book and handed it to me. "Go to page 253, my notes and stuff are in there."

"Chemistry? That's what you need help with?", I chuckled and turned to the page. "Do you know anything about this?"

"I know we have chemistry together.", he said smirking as I threw one of the pillows at him. "Kidding."

"Okay, we will start with the basic Chemistry stuff. What is Chemistry?", I said as I pulled out his notes.

"When you like stick things together.", he said clapping his hands. I started to laugh so hard, he began to lean his head down.

"I-I'm sorry. *sigh* Chemistry is almost like that. Your not sticking stuff together though. Chemistry is the branch of science that deals with the identification of the substances which matter is composed. In other words that your brain could understand is that it is just the investigation of the way properties combine together, interact and change. You got it?", I said looking up from the book. He started to pretend snore before I threw another pillow at him.

"I see why your failing Chemistry.", I said rolling my eyes.

"I try to understand it, but it's so BORING. I can spell, B-O-R-I-N-G, boring!", he said giving me a big smile.

"Oh, do you want a gold star?", I sarcastically said. "If you want me to help you, you have to want to learn."

"But...", he said before I cut him off. "You can't be failing even one subject to be on the basketball team. You have to have almost perfect grades. So if you don't want to learn, that is totally fine with me. That just means your not going to be playing basketball.", I said closing his book and falling backwards onto the bed.

Neither of us spoke up, it was just a moment of silence. It wasn't awkward silence, it was just simple silence. I looked up at the squares on his ceiling. I began counting them ,1,2,3.....10.

"I want to learn.", he whispered to me. I sat up to hear him continue. "I want to learn, but learning isn't fun."

"I can make it fun.", I said smirking. His eyes went big and he tilted his head sideways.

"Not that kind of fun, like actual fun.", I said taking a notebook from his desk. I ripped out a piece of paper, crumbling it up into a ball. Moving his trash bin to the middle of his room.

"Core electron. Electrons occupying completely filled shells under the valence shell.", I said as I backed up a few steps, shooting the paper ball into the bin. "1, nothing."

He took another paper out of the book, crumbling it up. "U-Um... H2O has 2 atoms of hydrogen and one atom of oxygen that are stuck together."

He took 5 steps back, shooting it into the bin. "Now that has to be like 5 points.", he said smiling. I shook my head, "2 points."
