He saw her turn right onto her street, walking quietly, alone. she ran into her house and seth followed closely behind. once he reached the porch he stood there. wondering if he should knock. Seth knocked. someone yelled 'I'm coming,' but when the door opened, he couldn't see anyone, but a chocolate hill. seth looked down and scratched his head.

"Hey."

ella smiled, "uh, hi." it took his breath away. she gestured for him to come in and as seth sat on the couch she ventured to the kitchen to get him a smoothie.

"Here you are," she handed him the glass. seth looked up at her and admired her. he smiled. she sat next to him.

"So, what's up?" she asked.

"Just wanted to talk," he replied, sipping his drink. ella nodded, she leaned back.

"What did you want to talk about?" Seth straightened up and thought about how he would say this.

"There's this girl that like," he turned to her, nervous and hesitating to finish, "she's pretty, smart, talented. I just don't know how to approach her." He referred to her.

she nodded, her hair falling to her face, "well, just talk to her. Tell her how you feel, get closer to her," ella shrugged, "who is she anyway?"

he panicked, "oh, no one." ella sighed, disappointed. 'why was she disappointed?' he wondered.

he abruptly stood up, "well, I gotta go." Seth smiled. ella nodded, following him to the door.

they said their goodbyes and seth headed out. he was upset. upset that he didn't have the courage to tell her how much he loved her. he slowly made his way to Marina's house.

He was too clueless to realize she liked him.

He was too clueless to realize that she was in pain.
