five - ella

*TRIGGER WARNING: ABUSE AND TEMPTING SELF-HARM*

'BANG' ella woke up, suddenly. the sound was loud. she looked at the clocked and noticed it was one in the morning.

"Oh joy. It's the weekend," she said, sarcasm dripping from her voice. she quietly crept downstairs and was faced with a sight that she saw to often. her mom, drunk. ella gasped. her mom slowly faced her.

"Ella! I've been needing to talk," her mom said, her eyes narrowing as her smile deepened. this usually didn't happen, but gemma was out, so it was the perfect time. her mom advanced on her, arm extended as she delivered a painful smack. ella fell. the pain was unbearable. her mother towered over her and grinned evily. ella tried backing up, but was against a wall. her mom kicked her, right in the stomach. ella screamed, in pain. blood dripped out of her mouth as everything went black.

ella woke up, with a throbbing pain on the side of her head. her mom was passed out on the couch. she tip-toed upstairs and cleaned up. she went on her laptop. 'ding' it went off. she opened her messages and saw one from seth.

sethisboss - hey shorty :)

ella smiled and responded.

ellafella - hey treetop :p

sethisboss - how are you?

ellafella -  i'm fine, you?

sethisboss -  eh, my dad is being a pain

ellafella -  my mom hurt me

sethisboss -  he kept yelling at me

ella felt a pang, she didn't care that he was upset, but he didn't even seem to care about her. a tear slid down her cheek.

ellafella - oh wow

sethisboss - yeah. maybe i should just kms

ellafella - but hb me? :/

sethisboss - i wont bc i dont want to leave my best friend

ella sighed, he never cared and he just friendzoned her, or was it even her, he was referring to? she was frustrated

"AGH!" she yelled out.

sethisboss - ella?

ellafella - what?

sethisboss - nothing

ella banged on the table, "COME ON SAY SOMETHING THAT ISN'T NOTHING."

ellafella - i gtg

sethisboss - k bye

ellafella - k

sethisboss - :)

ella screamed and cried. she hated this. she hated herself.
