"I'm alright granny, just tired all the time, its kinda hard being 8 months pregnant and doing everything by yourself basically."
"Now I told you last week that I would come over there and help out, you stubborn just like your daddy was."
"I know and I appreciate it, I just don't wanna burden nobody. Besides Janiya and Christyanna should be getting here in a few hours. I'll be fine."
"Lol. That child pregnant too, what y'all gone do complain to one another about being pregnant."
"Granny you so funny. She's only 5 months so she can help me out til He get back."
"Well I'll take your word for it baby,but I'm here if you need me and I'll be by there in a couple of days to bring you some corn and tomatoes from the garden."
"Awe man I could use that corn right now."
"Well I'll bring it by later on then, I need some cigarettes anyhow."
"Granny when the last time you talked to Chrissy, I've been meaning to get out there to see her,but being pregnant in the summer time I can't deal, this New Orleans heat so disrespectful."
"I understand Chile, I don't like getting out before sun down myself.
I think Sammy went to see her Tuesday, she's getting better he say. I haven't been up to that hospital in a while. I need to go tho."
"Maybe if I'm feeling up to it tomorrow, me and Ja will ride up there."
"If you do give her my love. I hate that she was going through that kind of thing and none of us picked up on it."
"Drugs are a hard thing to talk about to your family, its easy for a person to get hooked on those pain meds,that wreck messed her up so bad, her doctor shoulda picked up on it."
"Amen baby, you right!"

"Now what about the reunion next weekend, is y'all coming still.?
"Imma do the first day since its inside,but I think imma skip the crawfish boil its gone be entirely too hot for me to be out there."
"Awe hush girl you know granny done already thought about that. I ordered a air conditioned tent just for you."
"Okay then granny I see you. I'll definitely be there then!"
"Is he gone be back by then?"
"Yeah he supposed to,I'm not sure I haven't talked to him since my appointment Monday,but I'll text him to see and I'll let you know when you come by."
"Well I'm not even gone go in to that. Imma get off this phone and get my dinner started. I'll call you on my way over there."
"Alright then granny, I love you lady."
