*3 months later, Neema's birthday party*

"Mama Shelia thank you so much for helping me set all of this up and for fixing all the food. We really appreciate you for coming out here."

"Girl you know I don't mind that's my gandbaby and y'all my kids, I wouldn't have it any other way."

"It turned out really nice lord knows she loves her bubble guppies."

"Don't I know it."

I was feeling a little sick and really tired.

We've done 33 cities since the incident and trying to do my managers job and be a mother while pregnant was beginning to take a toll on me.

After the fight I went to see my obgyn to check on my little bun, the baby was fine but I was told my blood pressure was unusually high and my stress level was through the roof.

So I've been trying to take it easy as much as possible that's why I'm thankful for Ms. Shelia coming to help me put this party together..

I'm 4 months pregnant now and August and I still hadn't told anybody but Gretta and Terrence, just for safety purposes.

But I was starting to show so I think its time to tell everybody.

"Hey Raven what time is August getting back with Neema."

"Should be here shortly, her party starts at three."

"Oh well, you mind sitting down with me? I wanted to talk to you about a few things."

"Ah yeah sure um let's go out on the patio, you want some green tea?"

"Nah I'm fine."

We went out on the patio to sit and talk in the shade.

"What's going on Ms. Shelia? You look a lil stressed."

"I am just a little. But first I wanna start by apologizing for what I let happen to Neema. I'm so sorry that happened on my watch, I just know how you and my son don't like her sleeping in the bed with people and all but I should have kept her in the room with me. I'm sorry baybeh."

"Ms. Shelia that was not your fault, you do not have to keep apologizing for it. It was gone happen no matter who kept her, so its not your fault."

"Well I just still feel bad about it, I woulda lost my mind had anything happened to her."

"Well I can understand how you feel but honestly I don't blame you Ms. Shelia."

"And that's another thing I wanna talk about."

"What's that?"

"This Ms. Shelia thing. We family now you my daughter so stop calling me Miss.

I know our relationship ain't as close as we both would like it to be but we can work on that, and I wanna start off by saying call me mama baybeh."

"I can do that and we do need to work on being closer, and this is a good start mama."

"That's great baybeh I'm happy about this.

Now on to what I really wanted to talk to you about. I know its not my place but if I keep waiting on her to tell ya she ain't."
