Chapter 13

(Raven's POV)

"Thank you again Chandra, we really appreciate you taking care of my baby."

"Girl you know its nothing, we enjoyed her lil chunky self.. We gone miss y'all so much but I understand not being happy where you lay ya head."

"We gone miss y'all too, you know it was hard for him to make this big change and having to leave you and the girls behind. Buy that's where we need to be right now."

"Girl we will work it out some how. Atlanta is the place to be and as soon as I get me up enough money to get me a house and salon out there we will be right on out there with y'all."

"Aye Cha come let me holla atcha fa a minute."

While August and Cha went out to talk about whatever it is he needed to talk to her about I took that as my chance to go talk to the girls. They were up in the room sad as ever playing wit Neema.

"What y'all in here doing?"

"Watching spongebob and playing."

Kay answered me while Chat and Maya kept their eyes on TV. It was obvious they were mad.

"Look guys I know y'all are upset about us moving and I'm sorry, but we will be back visiting y'all all the time, and y'all can come visit us any time y'all get ready to. We can face time Instagram Snapchat and all of that."

"Its not the same, uncle Aug got a new family and he leaving us just like our daddy did."

Chay said as she tried to run out of the room crying but I caught her before she could and sat down on the floor with her and let her cry it all out.

"I'm sorry girls, he's not leaving y'all like that, were just gonna be a few states away and I promise whenever y'all need him he will be here. Uncle August has to go make new music for all of us to enjoy and dance to. It won't be so bad, I give you my word whenever you need him he'll be right here for y'all."

"We just gone miss y'all that's all."

Maya said while she and Kay who was holding Neema came and sat down on the floor with us.

"Hey when six flags open back up y'all can come out and we'll go ride all the rides even if it takes us all day."

After talking and consoling the girls we finally got them all calmed down and okay with us moving. After we left there we went by my OG's house for a little bit then his mother's house, that situation was totally awkward it was like we were there but there was no type of live being shown... Well besides them loving on Neema but it was like August was a stranger to them.

I don't know what its gone take for them to get back where they need to be but if I know my husband like I think I do then I know he's just about done trying to mend things and feeling like a stranger to these folks. He's gone eventually say fuck it and stop coming around period.

After sitting through the awkwardness a little longer we were finally ready to go home. It only took us 2 hours on the jet and another hour in traffic to get home and I was more than tired.

"Its gone be a bitch getting all of this stuff out of boxes and getting everything where we want it."

"I know it but we got time let's just go upstairs and chill I'm tired."
