Chapter 28

(August)

"August I'm gonna go pick up Neema's cake. Can you wake her up and get her dress please her its hanging in her closet in plastic.. I should be back in 30 minutes."

"Ma I'll go get it, you been running around this house getting stuff ready all day."

"Nah its okay, i got it.. I haven't been out the house all week I need to get out."

"Aight just hurry back. People gone start arriving here in a minute."

"I'll be right back.. Everything is ready so just go ahead and let them eat and all of that then when I get back we can cut the cake open her gifts and be done with this day."

"Aight ma, I guess."

"Love you."

I made my way upstairs to wake Neema so I could give her a bath and get her dressed. I went in her bathroom running her a bath then went back in her room.

"Neema..... Neema... Wake up fatty coo."

I sang while tickling her lil side. She woke up smiling and reaching for me.

"Hey fat mama.. You had a good nap."

I said while picking her up and taking her in her bathroom.

She started bouncing and clapping in my arms talking her baby talk.

She loved taking baths.

I turned the water off making sure it wasn't to hot. I undressed her then sat her in the water. She started splashing water and playing with her toys, while I sat on the edge of the tub watching her.

After a little while I got her out wrapping her in her duck towel drying her off.

We went back in her room. Placing her on her changing table I lotion her down then put her diaper and sandals on.

Raven had did her hair this morning so the only thing left was to put her dress on.

As soon as I button the last button up on her lil tutu dress the doorbell rang.

"Its party time lil mama, you ready.."

I picked her up and made my way downstairs opening the door to see Chandra and the girls, Travis, Calli and his baby mama, knuck and Ky and their daughter, Cyro, Bre, Amir and Christyanna and the rest of my crew and their kids.

"What the hell y'all did took a bus here together?"

I asked wondering how everybody was here all together.

"Actually we did thanks to your thoughtful wife, now move a nigga hungry."

Travis said walking in with everybody behind him."

"Happy birthday princess Neema!"

Chandra said taking Neema out my arms.

Then my three nieces attacked me with hugs and kisses.

Everybody was here so we all went out back watching all the kids play in the bounce house in the pool and with the lil bubble guppies cartoon character we hired .

The grown ups was eating and drinking having a good time playing cards and talking.

"August where Raven?"
