"Son gone home and get some rest.. You been here day in and day out for 8 months straight. I'll stay here with her.. Gone home and see ya daughter, she need to see ya face.. She can't have both of y'all gone."

"She ain't gone ma.. Don't say that. She gone wake up and she gone be fine and we gone raise our daughter together."

"I'm sorry baby I didn't meant ta say it like that. I just mean Neema need ta at least see one of y'all face. You can't shut down like this son."

"What I'm pose ta do mama? My wife laying here dam near lifeless.. I can't leave her,I need to be here when she wake up. I already lost my unborn child cause I wasn't there I can't leave her..... never again. She gone wake up mama."

Lord help my son, he slowly slipping away.. I know this too much for him but you gotta give my boy the strength to let go and move on.

There was a small knock on the door and in walked the cardiologist, neurologist and nurse that's been caring for Raven since the accident.

"Good morning Mr. Alsina Ms. Shelia."

We spoke back waiting for at least a good word of news.

"Mr. Alsina. We've been running all the test the we promised you we would and over the months we still have no sign of life. The oxygen is at a 100 percent there's no brain activity..

The only thing keeping her here is the machine.. Its nothing else we can do but let you all have a few minutes with her before we take her off the machine."

We all knew this day was coming... But everybody was holding out hope that she would make a comeback or at least a little progress.

After the doctors was done and he finished signing whatever it was they wanted him to sign myself and the doctors gave him that time with her alone..

"Can't believe we going out like dis ma, I never would have thought..... It was supposed to be me and you til the end. I feel cheated, we got so much more left to do together.

But I guess the big guy upstairs have better plans for you and our little one.

Dam baybeh, what am I supposed to do now... How do me and Neema go on without you...

You my best friend, I can't see me living a happy life without you.

But I know I gotta try and do my best at it cause I got a daughter to raise on my own now.

Don't worry I ain't gone let you down mama imma make sure she raised by yo standards and make sure she always know who you are.

I caressed my wife face admiring her beauty. Even through the burns, scratches and scars she was still the prettiest thing In the world to me.

Holding her hand I began to quietly sing a song that she would sing to me when she was feeling a certain kinda way.. Placing kisses on her lips, face and hands.
