"Ally. Ally!" I groaned and swatted at the pair of hands that were shaking me. "Get up!" The person growled.

"What?" I snapped opening my eyes. It was dark out and I could barely pick out Johnny's face. He looked so broken, so fragile.

"We fell asleep. Darry's gonna kill you." Johnny hissed.

"What time is it?" I asked rubbing my eyes.

"I don't know." Johnny said sounding annoyed.

"Okay. Thanks, for letting me stay with you." I sighed standing up.

"Whatever." Johnny sat back down on the cardboard. "I'm gonna spend the rest of the night here."

"You can come back to the house if you want." I suggested. Truth was I didn't wanna go back alone. I didn't want Johnny out here alone either.

"No. I'm fine." Johnny huffed.

"Okay. Well, wanna go for a walk in the park before I head home?" I asked. Johnny, you idiot. Just come with me. I begged in my head.

"I'm tired." He said simply and he lid down staring at the sky.

"Why don't you like me Johnny?" I asked angrily.

"I-its not that I don't like you. It's just- I just- oh, I don't know." Johnny rubbed his face.

"You treat me like trash for no reason and I'm tired of it. I'm tired of hiding my feelings." I wasn't sure if it was me or the sleep talking at this point. "I love you Johnny and it hurts to be treated like this. I ain't ever done anything wrong. You have no idea how many nights I've spent crying, wondering what it was I did wrong." I was in tears at this point.

"Ally, I'm-." Johnny started but I cut him off.

"No! Don't you even say anything. I don't know why I bother honestly." I furiously wiped away my tears and stomped off.

"Ally! Wait!" I heard Johnny call but I just started to run. I didn't want him to see me crying and I knew if I'd stayed I would only cry more.

I reached the house and slowly opened the front door. I hoped Darry, Soda and Pony were all asleep. The house was pitch black so I assumed they were asleep. I closed the door quietly behind me and started to feel my way around the living room.

The lights flicked on and I screamed as Darry stood there with his arms crossed over his chest. He looked sad, lost and broken but at the same time angry and worried.

"I have nothing to say to you." I said trying to push my way past him to get to my room.

"Where have you been? It's three in the damn morning." He asked ignoring what I had just said.

"The lot now move!" I growled as he stood in front of the stairs.

"With who?"

"Johnny." I mumbled.

"What'd you two do?"

"I told him you hit me and than we fell asleep." I shrugged my shoulders and tried to push past him again. Of course I failed.

"I didn't mean to Ally. I was blinded by anger. You know I'd never purposely hurt you. I'm so sorry." Darry looked close to tears but I knew he'd rather die than let a tear fall.

"Can I just go to my room now? I'm tired Darry." I growled at him.

"Fine." He sighed rubbing his face. He shuffled out of the way and I ran to my room.

As soon as I shut the door I slid down the wall and buried my face in my hands. I let tears fall from my eyes. I should've stayed at the lot with Johnny.

"Ally?" A soft knock was heard at my door.

"What?" I barked.

"Can I come in?"

"No! Go away." I sobbed.

"Aw come on sis. Let me in." I knew he wouldn't leave until I let him in.

I stood up, wiped my eyes and opened the door. I stared into Sodapops eyes. I turned around and walked to my double bed. I kicked off my shoes and crawled in. Soda had shut the door and was making his way over to my bed as well.

"Darry loves you more than anything in this entire world." Soda said once we were both cuddled up in bed. His arms were wrapped around me and my hands and head were resting against his bare chest.

"He hit me." I whispered thinking back to that moment. "He punched me, straight across the jaw."

"I know and me and Pony gave him hell for it. Believe me, we did." Soda said. I suddenly felt my eyelids become heavy.

"Soda?" I hummed.

"Yeah?" He said sounding equally as tired as me.

"Can we get a puppy?" I asked randomly. I've always wanted a puppy. A german shepherd maybe.

Soda just laughed. "Maybe." That was the last thing I heard before I fell asleep in Soda arms.
