"Ally! Get off me!" Two-Bit cried. I had him pinned down on the ground. I was straddling his stomach and his arms were pinned above his head.

"You ate my cake!" I said furiously.

"Guys? Aren't you gonna help me?" Two-Bit asked. He was clearly terrified.

"Dude, you ate her cake. Nothing we can do. Sorry man." Ponyboy laughed when I smacked Two-Bit across the mouth. It wasn't my hardest slap but the spot would be red for a little while.

"You ever, eat my cake again, and I will end you." I growled in his face.

"You're cute when you're angry." Two-But grinned. I felt my cheeks heat up and I crawled off of him.

I sat down on the couch and pouted.

"I am not, cute." I grumbled.

"Yes you are!" Everyone said at once. We all bust out laughing.

Once we all calmed down we started to watch Mickey Mouse, at the request of Two-Bit of course.

"Hey, Ally." Johnny said next to me. "Wanna go for a walk?"

"Yeah sure. Just let me get dressed." I smiled and stood up walking upstairs and into my bedroom.

I stopped in front of my dresser and picked out a pair of black skinny jeans, a black tank top and black socks. I slipped on the outfit and than reached under my bed trying to find my all black, ankle high, converse type shoes. I found them and slipped them on. I brushed through my short brown hair and quickly brushed on some mascara. I grabbed my leather jacket off the chair next to my, grabbed my pack of cigarettes and my matches and than bounced downstairs finally ready to go.

I smiled once I got downstairs and nodded at Johnny signalling that I was ready to go. I walked to the front door with Johnny trailing right behind me.

"Where you two goin'?" Darry asked before we could get through the door.

"For a walk." I said turning to look at him.

"Why?" Darry raised his eyebrows and I knew what he was thinking.

"I won't come home pregnant Darry. Don't worry." I winked at him and dragged Johnny out the door behind me. I could hear the gang laughing and Darry cussing as the door slammed shut and we ran down the front porch steps.

"Anything you wanted to talk about?" I asked Johnny as I bounced around happily on the sidewalk. I wasn't sure where we were going but I didn't care.

"Um, sorta." Johnny said awkwardly.

"What is it?" I asked slipping my small hand into his bigger one.

"How do you think your brothers will react about, us?" I hadn't really thought about that. What would my brothers say?

"They'd probably be angry, tell you not to hurt me. Blah, blah, blah. But they'd get over it and be happy for us." I shrugged my shoulders. I felt, alive. It was weird.

"Okay." Johnny sighed rubbing the back of his neck.

"Hey." I said stopping us from walking and standing in front of him. "Relax, alright? It's gonna be alright." I cupped his face with my hands.

"Okay." Johnny didn't look convinced. I stood on my tippy toes and kissed him.

"It's gonna be okay." I said again staring into his eyes. "They wouldn't hurt you and no matter what happens I'll be with you no matter what."

"Okay, okay. I trust you." Johnny smiled. Than I noticed his black eye. It was slightly faded than from before but it was still there. "I hate you staying with them. They're so cruel. It's not fair." I said close to tears and I looked at his eye.

"At least they notice I'm there. I'd rather them holler and beat me than ignore me." Johnny huffed stepping away from me.

"Don't say that Johnny. You don't deserve to be hollered at or beaten." We started to walk again.

"I guess." Johnny jammed his fists into his pockets.

-

Johnny and I spent hours just walking around town. Dally found us at one point and hung out for a bit. We scared some kids, robbed a small store and other random things waiting for the day to go by. Dally eventually left and Johnny and I were left wandering around town are our own.

"We should get back. It's getting dark and Darry is gonna have my head on a stick." I sighed kicking a rock on the ground.

"Yeah." Johnny said simply.

"Come by the house tomorrow?" I asked staring at the ground.

"Sure."

"What's eatin' you Johnny?" I asked. He was acting weird and his tone was sadder than usual.

"Nothin'." Johnny sighed rubbing his face.

"Are you sure?" I asked not believing him.

"Just drop it, okay?"

"Fine." I grumbled and walked a little faster.

As we walked past the field where we usually play football I heard the loud roar of an engine from behind us. I turned and watched as the same red mustang from the other day roll up. My heart started to pound and I grabbed Johnnys hand. I knew he was as scared as I was.

"Should we make a run for it?" I whispered to Johnny as the mustang slowly got closer.

"To late now." Johnny sighed as the mustang stopped in front of us.

"Hey greasers." A sly looking Soc sneered at us.

"What do you want? Filthy Soc. You're on greaser turf. You best leave, now." I growled. It was the same Soc that tried to rape me. His face was still busted and bruised from the beating Darry gave him.

"You're the little bitch that was in the alleyway. Your brothers jumped me." The Soc snarled realizing who I was.

"So? You deserved what you got." I growled at him. This guy was starting to piss me off.

"You little no good, trash, greaser. Come on! Let's get 'em!" The Soc yelled as they started to pile out of the car. There were at least four of them.

"Johnny, run!" I shouted as I turned to run across the football field dragging Johnny behind me.

But we weren't fast enough. The Socs caught up easily. They grabbed Johnny and ripped him right out of my hands. I turned around to try and help but a Soc grabbed me and lifted me in the air. I struggled against his hard grip, kicking and screaming.

"GET THE FUCK OFF OF ME!" I screeched as I kicked and screamed. The Soc wouldn't budge though.

I watched in horror as five Socs were crowding around Johnny, who was on the ground. They took turns punching and kicking him. I struggled even more against the Soc.

"PUT ME DOWN YOU FILTHY BASTARD!" I screeched as my fist flew back and hit the Soc in the nose. He dropped me and I landed on the ground with a hard thud.

I scrambled to get on my feet but a hard kick to my stomach knocked me over on my back. There was no getting up now.

I'm sorry Johnny. I thought to myself. I felt something cold and hard connect with my face. Again. Again. Again and again. Than darkness overpowered me and I closed my eyes.
