"I'm fine, Olie! I just need some air, go back in to your guests." Artemis waved her brother off outside his club. Verdant.
"Alright but if you're not in within ten minutes." Oliver warned.
"What? You'll send the patrols to find your wayward sister?" Artemis asked.
"I missed you." The blonde said with a shake of his head and a small smile at the one family member that hasn't changed.
"Me too, now run along. Brother mine." Oliver walked back into Verdant and Artemis ducked into a alley way into the shadows. Comfort washed over her, she was back in the darkness.
That comfort didn't last long. Her neck hairs pricked as when someone was watching her. She gathered sharpened shadows around her clenched fist, readying to release them into the darkness. A male body crashed into her, firm warm hands held her arms behind her back. Her stilettos tripped her, Artemis lost her footing and she slammed into the dark brick wall. The shadows dispersed. She snarled, she would never let Thea pick her outfit again. Her stomach and chest was pushed up against the side of Verdant, her attacker was pressed up behind her. The man's legs helped pin her feet, so she wouldn't be able to kick out behind her. A tinge of fear steeped out of her dam. His head leaned forward as she fought against him, she cursed the liquor she consumed and the damned heels. She tensed, expecting the harsh stench of booze, drugs and smoke on the man's breath but the sweet smell of familiar mint toothpaste met her nose. It reminded her of the toothpaste they issued in...

The man whispered, low," Riddle me this." Into Artemis's ear and she shivered at his voice. His words unwound the tense muscles of her body. She relaxed and so did his hands. "I can only live where there is light, but I die if the light shines on me. What am I?"

"I could have killed you." Artemis hissed at him as she turned around, still in his hold. Trapped between the wall and his body. She smiled up at him, glad he did come to Starling City. He loomed over her, bright green eyes glittered at her through the gloom. His green bowler hat sat atop of his head, a few stray strands of brown hair hung in front of his forehead.
"Could have but didn't." Edward replied, a tad bit smug. Lowering his head down, level with her face. Artemis wrapped her arms around his neck, comfortable in their predicament. One hand played with the hair at the base of head. "So, I can only live where there is light, but I die if the light shines on me." The Rouge repeated in a knee weakening whisper to the other Rouge of Gotham.
Artemis grinned at him and pulled him in for a deep, passionate kiss. Tongues battled for dominance, Edward won and remapped her mouth. A mouth of a woman he hadn't seen in months. She pulled away and murmured," A shadow." Edward smirked and reclaimed her lips, she moaned in his mouth. Edward gripped her waist, pulling her closer. Artemis grabbed his hat and switched it to her head, then started to raking her nails across his scalp. He growled and pressed her against the brick wall. He pulled away and Artemis breathed, rapidly. Her head swam with pleasure and desire. "How about we go inside?" She asked in a shaky voice.
Edward chuckled," Flustering you is a pleasure of mine."
"Inside." Artemis hissed and flushed bright red and the Riddler backed off, just enough that Artemis could brush by on shaky deer legs. "People won't recognize you?" She asked, changing the subject.
Edward Nigma wrapped an arm around her waist and placed a kiss on her temple. "My dear, this is Starling City not Gotham. Why would anyone look for the Riddler here? It is as likely for someone to recognize you as Lady Kamaria David. As of now at least." He finished with a Cheshire grin. Artemis smiled back and the Rouges entered the Verdant with not a care in the world.
Artemis took a table in the darker part of the club, not taking any chances with their freedom. Edward ordered drinks for her and him. Artemis sipped the mint jewlupe. "So, are you going to have any death traps here in Starling? Or heists? Make a debut in Starling City. A birdy told me that my City has a vigilante." Artemis adjusted his bowler hat on her head, that he still hadn't reclaimed. "Wanna test his skills or lack thereof?"
Edward hummed," Is Lady Kamaria going to join me?" He held out a hand to her, wiggling his purple gloved fingers at her with a cheeky grin. Artemis smiled, he was so full of himself. She took his hand and he pulled her to the dance floor. Still hidden in the darkness. Edward pulled her, flush against his body. His heat radiating over her. His hands settled on her hips, ghosting over her bare back. Artemis shivered at his teasing hand.
"I think she would." She whispered in his ear, low and seductive. Her breath tickling his skin.
"That's not quite fair, my dear." He murmured as they swayed.
"You never play fair, why should I?" Artemis said with a laugh. He spun them away from a couple with a Riddler grin on his face. Her insides fluttered and twisted as they swayed. She placed her head on his shoulder and leaned against the side of his head. "I wish you wouldn't wear those ridiculous contacts or that wig." Edward murmured.
"I wish I could unsee you in that leotard but we don't get everything we want, do we? You know I have to wear this."
Edward blushed and replied with indignation, "I happened to like that and it wasn't a leotard." And the muttered." You cheeky woman."
"My cheesy man." Artemis replied in a sticky sweet, innocent tone. "How's the other Rouges?"
"A mass breakout at Arkham. So, almost Everyone is back to their old tricks. Jonny escaped, I assume he's with our dearest Amelia." Edward said, observing her brother's club.
"They are good for each other." Artemis said with a nod.
"I escaped and drove all the way to." Edward maneuvered his head so he could places kisses and small bites down her pale neck. "Starling City to see my mystery." After every word he kissed her neck.
"Hmm... We should have just went home." Artemis moaned and Edward stiffened, pulling away. "What is it?"
"What's tall, blonde and brooding. A king wouldn't be a king without his...."
"Queen." She finished. "Oliver." Artemis spun around to face her brother. "Don't say anything riddle related." She hissed at him, Edward grinned and raised an questioning eyebrow.
