Artemis Queen laid in the arms of Edward Nygma, content with their current predicament. Sprawled out in her bed with the comforter and sheets shrewd about, entangled with each other. His slim hands ran up and down her sides, tracing countless scars that littered her pale form. One of her hands knotted in his soft, brown hair. Her manicured nails scratched, lightly at his scalp in a soothing manner. Lazy kisses and light bites were placed on both parties, relishing each other's warmth. "I can't believe you named me, Edward Newgate." Edward huffed, pulling away to send a light, faux glare down at Artemis.
Artemis laughed, softly. "Newgate was the first thing that popped into my head besides Nygma or Elric." They just had the best reunion sex to date and Edward was still concerned about the damned name. Only he would stay occupied by that.
"So, I go from dashing rouge to an old swashbuckling pirate?" Edward continued, rolling the pair over until he hovered over Artemis.
"Oi! Edward Newgate was the strongest man alive, a certified badass." Artemis protested with a grin.
"Oh?" Edward mocked and Artemis gasped as his finger pressed right there. "Wasn't he over seventy years old?" He asked, enjoying the sight of Artemis coming undone under him. Edward always knew the right buttons to push to earn a reaction from the assassin.
"Still ripped as hell." Artemis retorted. Her voice wavered, slightly. Edward opened his mouth to reply with a languid smile but there was a knock on the door. Both of them groaned, "Yes?" Artemis called, her hand shot down to still Edward's wrist. His fingers hit a bundle of nerves and she saw stars. Once the Room came back into focus, Artemis shot up a glare up to Edward's smug smirk and heated green gaze.
"Hey!" Thea called. "Are you coming back downstairs?"
"In five minutes, we'll be down." Artemis answered.
"Make it ten." Edward hummed, continuing where he left off.
"Five to ten minutes." Artemis corrected, breathlessly and pulled Edward down into a heated kiss.

Amelia Houston headed home from the office after dealing with the fiasco that the media had caused for Artemis Queen. The vultures were always eager for a morsel of truth to extenuated that small fact into a feast of 'knowledge'. The worst part? The people ate it up. Today's paper read, "Darling princess of Gotham returning home as the Star of Starling City." On the front page. The article then went into detail as how Artemis would close the headquarters of Olympus Tech and relocate to Starling City, leaving thousands unemployed in Gotham. So, Amy spent the day easing the worries of Olympus Tech's Employees and putting out fires with other media outlets. Hell, even Bruce Wayne called to ask how Missy was doing with her brother and if he would be losing a valued competitor.
Amy was so ready for the day to be over that she left early. She returned to her cozy apartment and ready to spend the evening with Jon. She brought back take out, candy and a couple of movies for a movie night. Hopefully, that burning anger for the news would fade in time with Jon. As well as the fact that she had to wear a turtle neck in the end of summer. She swung the door open and called. "Jon? I'm home!" Amy froze at the sight of two women dressed in black and Jon standing in the living room, glaring at each other. "Nyssa! Sara! What are y'all doing here?" Amy quickly set their dinner on the entry table.
"Well, Kamaria refused to allow us access to her company. We stopped here." Nyssa answered. Artemis didn't let you on Olympus Tech property for a reason, Amy thought, angrily. She stepped into her living room and hit the speed dial to Artemis, listening to the Queen answer through the Bluetooth but Amy didn't reply to her boss.
