"But Maddie it deserves to be heard" Grayson looks me in the eyes
"I just don't know. I don't need another reason to get beat up" I sighed
"How about I help you" Grayson smiled
"What do you mean?" I looked at Grayson confused
"I'll help you record and then edit this and have it ready to post by this time tomorrow!" Grayson smiled softly
"Yeah okay deal" I smiled

Hannah and Ethan peep through the door with Aaron there too
"I think they're getting along" Aaron smiled
"Yeah all because of music" Hannah nods and smiles
"Let's give Gray another chance. I think we all underestimated him" Ethan smiled
"Good idea!" Hannah and Aaron respond

Grayson's POV
I'm so glad she agreed to let me help her get this track up because everyone honestly deserve to hear it. Maybe this will prove to everyone at school that mads isn't the underdog and just the new girl.. That she's really a force to be messed with

I finished recording and then looked at Grayson
"Yes?" Grayson smiled
"Why do you believe in me so much? You hardly know me" I looked at Grayson
"Because you know where you want to be, and you have such a passion and such a drive for this but you hide it all away when you get to school, and that needs to change" Grayson smiled
"Look. I get that you're doing this for me and it means the world to me but I don't think no one will care" I sighed and then walked downstairs
"We'll just have to wait and see then won't me!" Grayson yells so I can hear him
"This is all for you" Grayson then burns the song onto a CD disc because he had a plan

I headed back up to my room and just went into the booth to try and get my guitar right to add to the recording, which I didn't know Grayson had finished. I start playing and Grayson is still sitting next to me working on the bass and etc. it comes around to 3am and we both fell asleep with my head on his shoulder

•the next morning•
"Aw look at them Eth" Hannah smiled as she walked into my room
"They both look happy don't they" Ethan smiled
"They sure do" Hannah nodded

Aaron came running in and noticed we were both asleep so he turned on the microphone "WAKE UP" he yelled into it
"Holy shit" I jumped
"It's okay" Grayson grabs onto me "but A what was that for!?"
"To wake y'all up or you'll be late!" Aaron smiled "thank me later!" he added then ran downstairs to finish getting ready
"We better get ready to leave" I said as I was turning off all my expensive things.
"Yes let's go" Grayson stood up and then rushed next door to get changed and then picked up the CD when I wasn't looking
I stood up and got ready for school
"Come on mads let's go!" Hannah yelled from downstairs
"I'm coming!" I grabbed my song book and put it into my bag then rushed down stairs

Hannah, Ethan, Aaron and Grayson were all waiting outside for me so we could all skate to school together

We get to school and they boys meet up with Cameron and Jack as Hannah walks with me behind them

"So what was all that? With Grayson last night? Hannah nudged me
"I don't know. I guess he just saw something in me... That.. Well that I couldn't even see" I smiled a little
"AWWW YOU LIKE HIMMM!" She taps my shoulder
"No. Nooo I don't!" I shook my head
"Mhmmm" Hannah smirked not believing me at all

"So what happened last night!?" Cam nudged Grayson
"Yeah I heard you were busy!" Jack jumps in
"Nothing okay! All we did was write. I helped her finish her song.. She just doesn't know that yet" Grayson smirks and then runs off towards the office

Ethan and the boys turn around to look at Hannah and I
"Where's he off to?" Ethan looked at Grayson
"No clue" we all responded at once

It came around to end of first period and Grayson still was yet to be seen, so we started worrying.

Grayson runs into the office "hey! I have something that I'd like you to play over the PA please!?" He almost begged the lady behind the school desk
"Okay sure thing" she smiled nicely as she could see that it meant a lot to him, Grayson then smiled as my song started playing

I looked around trying to figure out where the song was coming from and also looking at everyone else's response to it too.
"This is really good!"
"Who is she! Her voice is amazing"
Comments like this were flying around the corridors.
"He's so dead" I look at Aaron and run off to try find Grayson
Aaron then looks at Ethan and Hannah confused "is she okay?"
"I don't know" Ethan shrugged
"I hope so" Hannah added

I ran into the office and saw Grayson standing there with the CD in his hand....
