"Grayson why.." I sighed and sat down on the seat
"I wanted you to be noticed. The sooner the better" he smiled
"You just don't understand.."
"What don't I understand Hun?" Grayson smiled and sat down beside me
"You don't understand that music was all I had left. It was really my escape. People at school would treat me like a piece of shit and when I got home music was my escape from that." I sighed
"But it's so good that it can't be kept in forever.." Grayson looks around "It's the realist shit I've ever heard" he then adds
"But why. Why did you have to do it behind my back?" I sighed
"Because. I knew how much effort you put into this and how much you'd love to get it out there.. And with my fan base you can do just that" Grayson smiled
"I don't want people to think that I'm using you just for that." I looked around
"Well maybe they won't" Grayson smirks standing up and sticking out his hand
"What do you mean?" I stand up and look at him confused
Grayson grabbed my hand and took off back into the main corridor where everyone was liking the track
"See.. I told you people would like it!" Grayson smiled
"Do you like this?" I tapped on the girls shoulder next to me
"Yes it's amazing!! Do you know who wrote it!?" she smiled bumping to the music
I looked around and then at Grayson and then back around "uhhh, I did"
"Forreal!?" She smiled
"Uh yeahh" I nodded
"Well it's truly amazing! You can make it big one day" she smiled softly and then waved and walked off
"I told you didn't I?" Grayson smiled softly
"Yeah you did" I nodded

2nd period comes around, it's the only class where all of us; Hannah, Ethan, Aaron, Cameron, Jack, Grayson and myself aren't all in the same class, this one, it's only Aaron and myself.
"Hey I have to go! You'll be okay walking to class?" Grayson smiled
"Yeah I have Aaron!" I smiled back
"Okay! Meet me by your locker after class?" Grayson smiled kissing my check
"Yes sure thing" I smiled waving to Grayson
"Bye" Grayson smiled walking off with everyone else into class

"You know he really likes you Mads" Aaron smiled as we waited outside of class for our teacher to arrive
"No he doesn't. He could have any other girl in the world, why would he like me?" I sighed
"I've seen how y'all connect. How much music brought y'all closer. You can't deny that connection" Aaron smiled as the teacher opened the class door
"Hmm" I walked inside of class

"So when are you and Mads gonna be official aye!?" Cameron smiled nudging Grayson
"I don't know Cam. I like her.. A lot. But she's got no mutual feelings.. And if she does, she's very good at hiding it" Grayson looks around
"She likes you Gray, she really does. She hides it by keeping her walls up due to her past relationships" Hannah adds into the conversation
"I think you should go for it. Maybe just talk with her and ask her out?" Jack smiled
"Maybe after this period! Okay?" Grayson smiled

*2nd period flys by super fast*
the bell rings as 2nd period ends

"You can't avoid the feelings you have for him forever you know" Aaron smiled as he started walking out to the corridors
"Look at all he did for you just today Mads. No one has ever gone through that much trouble to help you! You can't push aside the feelings that are there" Aaron adds
"Watch me" I look at Aaron and head towards the corridor and my locker

I get to my locker and see Grayson just waiting there with Jack, Cameron, Ethan and Hannah watching from a distance

I looked over at Aaron as he was moving his hands to tell me to go over to Grayson
"Hey you" Grayson smiled
"Hi" I opened my locker to put my books away
"Sooo" Grayson smirks
"Yeahh?" I look at Grayson
"Dinner tonight? Just the two of us" Grayson smiled
I looked my phone as I was getting some hate about the song and tired to hide it "I uhhh. I don't know. I'm still kinda mad at you for what you did by playing my cd to the whole school"
"Is she okay?" Ethan looks at Hannah
"I'm not sure" Hannah says
"I said I'm sorry Mads" Grayson smiled
"Yeah I know. But I-" i look at my phone again "never mind"
