Well this is the best start to a new school isn't it. Ugh. How am I gonna explain everything to Hannah, Eth, and Aaron? Hmm.

Aaron texts me "are you okay? detention should have finished an hour ago"
I respond " yes I'm fine. just needed time to gather my thoughts. I'm coming home now"
Aaron responds "okay well we'll have Taco Bell ready for you when you come home"
I smiled, Aaron and I have gotten so close, he's like a older brother, "thank you"
Aaron texts back "you're welcome"

I head back to the apartment from school and flop into the couch
"Hard time in detention babe!" Grayson smiled as he sat near me
"Yeah actually" I said more or less lying to him, as much as I hate lying, I couldn't say any of this anytime soon honestly
"What happened babe?" Grayson smiled
"Just some smart asses" I rest my legs on Grayson's lap
"Who we gotta kill!!?" Hannah jumps in
"It's okay honestly! I handled it!" I smiled "somewhat" I'm mumbled to myself
"Mads, a word?" Aaron pulls me out onto the balcony
I nodded and then stood up and headed to the balcony "Yeah what's up?"
"Is there something you wanna say?" Aaron looks at me
"What?" I looked at him
"This?" Aaron showed me the photo of mr Dylan kissing me that  Amy had sent Aaron
"Who is it!? Gray's gonna flip it when he finds out!!!" Aaron starts losing it
"It's Mr Dylan...." I pause
Aaron doesn't say anything and just looks at me disappointed
"Wait I can explain!" I grab onto Aaron's arm so he doesn't run inside
"Sit... Please?" I look at Aaron
Aaron nodded and sat down
"Well once he called me back into class and he started to apologise and then next minute he kissed me. Amy got a photo of it. She posted it all over school's website but she deleted it after I asked her too but that was after Abby told her too on my behalf as well but yeah. Trust me. I didn't kiss back.. A.. You have to believe me" I look at Aaron
"But he hit you and then kissed you!? Why doesn't that add up!?" Aaron looked at me
"Because it doesn't! You're right it doesn't! But I'd never kiss him back, or anyone else for that matter!" I look at Aaron
"I'm finally starting to become happy.. After the change from moving and all that Grayson has been the only one making me happy, other than you and Han and Eth. Grayson is the only other person in that god damn school that doesn't hate my guts right now. You really think I'd let that go just like that?" I added
"No Maddie I don't. I'm more worried on how you're going to explain this to Grayson. He loves you, and he's fragile. I just don't what him hurt." Aaron looks at me
"I won't. I'll make sure to tell him when we go back in. Just. Please don't hate me." I sighed
"I don't hate you. I'm disappointed you didn't tell me when we were talking earlier. That's all" Aaron smiled
"Yeah I know, and I understand that. And I should have, I just thought over phone wasn't the right place the say it." I smiled slightly
"Fair enough. Now go!" Aaron pushed me back inside

"Hey baby! Everything okay?" Grayson smiled looking at me as I walked in
"Actually... I kinda have something to say..." I looked at Aaron and then at Grayson
"Go ahead babe!" Grayson signals me to sit down beside him
"So you know how I went to talk to Mr Dylan?" I sit beside Grayson
"Yes babe" Grayson smiled
"Well..." I look at Aaron
"Tell him." Aaron said firmly
"Okay.." I paused
"Well. He apologised and then..." I sighed
"He kissed me." I looked around at Hannah and Ethan and then back to Grayson
"You should have told me earlier babe!" Grayson looks at me
"I know. I just didn't know how..." I sighed
"Who else knew? And for how long." Grayson looked at me
"Only Aaron. And like 10 minutes ago. He got it out of me." I look at Grayson
"Just tell me one thing.... Did you kiss back?" Grayson frowned
"No. Of course I didn't. I'd never kiss him. Or anyone else for that matter. Gray.." I looked at him
"I need a minute" Grayson stood up and walked out onto the balcony
"I've fucked up again haven't I?" I looked at Hannah
