"What's his game? That you said? For Mads to keep her distance?" Hannah looks at Ethan worried
"Babe he's a player. He gets girls to like him, has fun with them and then ditches them. It's what he does" Ethan kisses Hannah's forehead
"I'll watch him" Hannah nodded

We check in, and get our apartment key
"You can stay with me babe! for a bit!" Ethan smiles
"Yeah okay! But what about Maddie?" Hannah looks at Ethan
"She'll be okay on her own for a bit babe. Looks like what she needs" Ethan looks at me as I'm sitting on the couch in the lobby.
"Okay" Hannah nods

I am worried about starting school tomorrow. I just want to lock myself into my apartment until I'm forced to come out for school tomorrow. Hannah has us starting school as soon as possible, so she can be with Ethan and it also gets us settled in better, well she thinks.

"Mads I'll see you tomorrow morning, I'll come wake you up for school! You okay to just stay here til then?" Hannah smiled handing me the key
"Yep I will be" I nodded taking the key from her hands
I then headed up to the apartment room 486. One next door to Ethan and his odd twin.

I don't know what's up with that kid buuut I don't like it.

Anyways, it's 1am. Bed it is!

I get into the apartment and settle in and just lay there strumming my guitar til I fell asleep after like 10 minutes because I was jet lagged.

••• the next morning ••••

"Wake up mads!!!" Hannah rushes in and jumps on my bed
"No no no" I roll over and didn't want to get up
"C'MOOOONN" Hannah drags me out of bed and leaves me on the floor and then pours a cup of water onto my face to wake me up
"I'm up, okay!" I stand up and head to my suitcase to pick something to wear
"Good! Oh and be careful with Grayson yeah? Eth's told me bad things about him" Hannah smiled as she stole a piece of my chewing gum
"Yep will do, I plan to stick to myself as much as possible." I nodded as I put on some cute black jeans and then a cute little white crop top that says "blessed" with a little angel on it. and then put on my white vans
"Cuteeeee" Hannah smiled
"Thanks" I smiled as I got my bag and put some pens and pencils in it and some paper to write on
"Let's go!" Hannah smiled and then grabbed onto Ethan's hand as we worked out of the apartment and headed to school.

Oh god. School. Ughhh.

I walk into school and there's so many people. Giving Hannah the heart eyes looks and me the evils. Being judged already. Yay! Not.

Anyways, the first bell rings, so that means it's time for first period. I walk with Hannah, and Ethan to Hannah's locker which was right by mine
"You need help finding your first classes?" Ethan looks at the both of us
"I'm fine" I smiled
"Please" Hannah shows Ethan her timetable and they both had math so we said out good byes and off we went.
I had physics, my favourite class.
I was grabbing my books out of my locker when I bumped into someone
"I'm so-" before I could finish I was interrupted by a familiar voice.
Watch where you're going nerd" boom. It was Grayson.
"I'm so sorry" I said as I was picking up my books
"It's okay" Grayson smiled as he helped me pick up my books. I didn't show any emotion in return because I know his game.
"Need help finding your first class?" he paused for a minute "oh wait! you're that cute girl from the apartment building yesterday! Ethan's girlfriends best friend right?" Grayson clicked to who I was.
"Yeah that's me. Just let me be." I nodded as I walked off to physics, having Grayson follow me, he then grabs onto my arm
"Wait, I can help you cutie" he said as he turned me to face him
"I'm not interested okay! Just leave me alone. I don't need any of this!" I pull away from Grayson and walk straight into class and sit right in the back corner, as far away from everyone as possible.

•• period one starts••
"Okay class today we have an exciting lesson!" the teacher said as he was very excited to start causing everyone to sigh
"I'm Mr. Scott, I'm physics teacher for the semester as most of y'all know, expect for our new student Ma-" Mr Scott was about to introduce me until Grayson walks in.
"Sorry I'm late Sir" Grayson handed Mr. Scott a late pass and the reason  for being late was "idk"
"Mr Dolan, you have detention if you can't solve a random first question in the lesson!" the teacher throws away Grayson's late pass and Grayson nodded and sat down a few rows in front of me.

"Okay Mr Dolan, you're up! what two things in physics equal force?" Mr. Scott said 100% serious
"Passion and attraction" Grayson said laughing
"DETENTION DOLAN!" He hands Grayson an detention slip, Grayson then looks at me me winks, oh god attention seeker much.
"Thanks sir!" Grayson waves the slip in the air
"Maddie? Would you like to answer?" Mr. Scott looks at me.
"ahhh" I shake my head
"Introduce yourself to the class as well since you're new!" Mr. Scott said as he signalled me to stand up
"I'm... I'm Maddie and I'm from New Zealand. oh and the answer is mass x acceleration" I sat back down in my seat
"Well done Maddie! Looks like you should tutor Grayson" Mr. Scott smiled
