I shake my head as Grayson looks at me after Mr Scotts comment.
"Maybe today after school?" Grayson smiled
I didn't know what to say. but thank god the bell had gone.
"Okay class y'all can leave now! See you 3rd period tomorrow!"
Everyone walks out into their lockers.
I was about to walk out when Mr Scott called me over
"Maddie can I have a little word with you quickly?" He asked me nicely
"Yeah of course" I nodded
"Would you mind tutoring Grayson, he really could use it" Mr Scott points to Grayson who was out near his locker with his friends
"I'd rather stay as far away from his as possible sir" I sighed
"But he needs it Maddie. I'll give you extra credit" Mr Scott said almost begging me
"Fine. But if he doesn't catch on, it's not my problem" I rolled my eyes at Grayson
"Thank you" Mr Scott smiled.
I nodded then walked outside and was walking down the hall, near Grayson's locker
"Is she the new girl?" Aaron smiled, Grayson's best friend
"She's pretty hot" Cameron smiled checking me out causing me to roll my eyes again but then causing Grayson to check me out also
"She is something isn't she" Grayson smiled
"Dude what about that other chick? Harmony?" Aaron looks at Grayson
"She'll be single by the end of the week, don't worry boys" Grayson smirks then closes his locker

I was walking down the hall way minding my own business when this girl comes up to me. She's a cheerleader oh great..

"So I heard you have a thing with my man aye!?" Harmony says as she takes a step closer to me causing all of her cheer squad to "ohhhhh" in the background
"No no no" I shake my head
"Well if you take him off me you have no clue what's coming for you!" Harmony looks back at her squad before punching me in the face.
"More of that will happen if you don't leave your dirty nerd hands off of Grayson!" Harmony then turns around and walks off with her squad.

"Um dude.." Aaron looks at Grayson
"Yeah what's up?" Grayson smiles at Aaron
"Is-is that that new chick on the ground with everyone around her?" Aaron points to me
"Holy shit it is!" Grayson b-lines straight for me

"Maddie, are you okay!?, what happened!?" He puts his hands on my back to support me as I try stand up as I had my hand over my face
"Head cheerleader happened" I sighed
"You should get her to the nurse" Cameron smiled
"Yeah come on" Grayson smiled as he helps me up
"No I don't need your help!" I sigh trying to fight him off me, causing me to cry because I wasn't sure what was going on.
"You do. Just trust me" Grayson smiled as Aaron and Cameron took me to the nurses office

"Ethan.." Hannah pokes Ethan's shoulder
"Yes babe?" Ethan looks back at Hannah
"I-is that mads?" Hannah points over to me
"Yeah. and she's with Grayson.. And heading to the nurse.. Shit" Ethan shuts his locker and grabs onto Hannah's hand and then head to follow after me, Aaron, Cameron and Grayson.

*we get to the nurse*
"Hello everything okay?" Bridget smiled
"No" I sighed
"Aw what's happened to your eye love" Bridget looks at me as she applies ice to my face
"I was walking down the hall way and then the head cheerleader threatened me and punched me" I sighed holding the ice on my eye
"How'd y'all find her?" Bridget looks at Grayson
"I had class with Maddie before hand and then I went to my locker, Maddie was talking to the teacher then I look around and she's on the ground in a ball shaking. and Harmony the head cheerleader is walking off laughing" Grayson tries to hold onto my hand
"Is that true" Bridget looks at me as she checks me for concussion
"Yeah it is" I sighed then pulled my hand away from Grayson's
"Well it looks like I'm gonna have to cut your first day off short Hun. You have to go home and rest as you have a bad concussion" Bridget smiled giving me pain medication

Hannah then walks in "what happened!?" She looks straight at Grayson and so did Ethan
" I didn't do it" Grayson yells
"Mmhm" Hannah looks at Grayson in disbelief
"He really didn't. It was the head cheerleader" Aaron smiled
"Wait Gray, Harmony!? That girl who you had a thing with?" Ethan looks at Grayson
"Yeah had." Grayson looks at me and smiled
"Can you take me home.." I looked at Hannah and sighed
"Is she aloud?" Hannah looks at the nurse Bridget
"Yes she is. For the next few days preferably" Bridget nods
"Okay well I'll make sure she rests" Hannah says as she tries to help me up and then Grayson tries to help
"You've done enough Gray" Hannah looks at Grayson disappointed

Hannah helps me to Aaron's car, followed by Ethan

"Best way to start high school" I sighed
Hannah rubs my back causing me to rest my head on her shoulder
"You know Maddie, Grayson isn't as bad as others say" Aaron looks at me
"Right now, he's the least of my worries" I sighed

"What do you mean by that Maddie?" Aaron looks at me confused

"He's like every other guy at home, he finds a girl he 'likes' and fucks with her feelings and then lets her go like it was nothing. I don't need another repeat of my past." I sighed

"I know Grayson seems like a fuckboy and I admit he was but when you arrived he completely changed. Seriously" Aaron smiles

"I-I dont know. Ethan's warned me about him multiple times. All I know is he's going to have do more than what he's done to 'win me over'." I get out of the car and walk into the apartment

"I'm sorry A, she's had a rough day" Hannah smiled looking at Aaron

"It's okay I understand that she doesn't trust him. He doesn't have the best reputation with girls" Aaron nods agreeing

"It's understandable, I can't keep up with Gray either. Plus Maddie hasn't even had the best history with boys" Ethan and Hannah nods

"I'm right here" I sighed

Aaron smiled softly as he helped Ethan get me out of the car

"Y'all don't need to comfort me like this. I'm capable of looking after myself" I sighed then walked upstairs
