Betrayed

(Y/n's pov)
I just stood there in shock at the doors of the guild, Natsu was kissing Lucy and saying he loved her. My heart felt like shot by a painful agonizing bullet. After the things I gave up and showed him why? Why did I even waste my time on him?

Natsu noticed me at the door and ran up to me with a huge smile. I walked outside so we had some privacy and tried my hardest not to show weakness or cry.

"(Y/n) thanks so much for teaching me. I'll make sure to put your lessons to good work and have Lucy screaming my name.", He cheered.

I just glared at him and sadly my vision got blurry. The tears began to escape. Natsu noticed and tried to come closer to me. I slapped his hand away and ran off.

"Kuro get me out of here now!!!", I cried.

My exceed swooped down and plucked me up into the air and flew me away from that bastard.

We landed in a forest near the river and I cried my eyes out. Why? Why the fuck was I so stupid? Fucking Natsu!!! He was such a dumbass. I wanted to give myself to someone I loved and I ended up wasting it on someone who just used me!!!

"(Y/n) why'd you run off? Why are you crying? Are you o-"

"Fuck off Dragneel and get away from me!!! I don't want anything to do with you now leave me alone!!!", I screamed cutting him off.

He seemed a but surprised and hurt. As if I wanted him to make the wounds deeper, I just wanted him to leave!!

"(Y/n) what's wrong with you? You'd never say something like that.", Natsu commented.

I just growled and glared at the blurry figure in front of me. Kuro held on tightly to my leg and held me close.

"You really wanna know you stupid prick!! I ended up wasting my time on you!! I ended up wasting something precious on you!! I ended up wasting my time loving some pink haired dumbass that just ended up using me!!! DRAGNEEL I FUCKING HATE YOU!!! STAY OUTTA MY LIFE AND NEVER SHOW YOURSELF IN FRONT OF ME AGAIN!!!!!", I screeched.

I panted and glared at the pinkette. He seemed surprised and taken aback by my little speech. His face changed to something of grief and he tried to comfort me.

"I'm sorry but I didn't know and...and I never even liked you that way. You were just a close friend that's why I asked for your help. I wasn't aware that you liked me but I really didn't use you. I asked for advice and you gave me more than that, (y/n) if you take in all of that info this is really your fault.", He admitted.

Shock took over.....Natsu was right, I am to blame, I'm the fool here. I was the idiot here. I just nodded and looked down. For some reason I started to laugh, it was a pained laugh but this all seemed so funny. The world isn't fair so wtf was I thinking.

I stared emotionless at the pinkette and smiled,

"You you're right. I really am the idiot here. Nevermind what I said, now I'm the one wasting time. See ya Dragneel."

Me and Kuro flew back to the guild hall and left Natsu there standing there speechless. Once we were back in the hall I asked master to remove my guild mark. He noticed the sadness hidden behind my smile and he understood my situation. We kept it confidential and he removed the (f/c) mark from my (body part).

"Goodbye my young one. May you always be shown the bright path of light and happiness. Also remember you must follow these very important rules:

1.)You must never reveal sensitive information about Fairy Tail to others for as long as you live.

2.)You must never use former contacts met through your being in the guild for personal gain.

3.)Though our paths may have diverged, you must continue to live out your life with all your might, you must never consider your own life to be something insignificant, and you must never forget about your friends for as long as you live.

Do you understand (y/n)?", Makarov asked sadly.

I nodded and stood up. I bowed in respect to my former master and guardian and began to walk out of the guild I once called home.

"Goodbye my Fairy Tail.", I sighed holding up the number one, one last time in respect to this great guild of mages.

Looking back once more I walked away from the guild with my exceed never to return.

"Goodbye everyone.", I cried as I boarded the train so that I could leave Mongolia.

"I hope you used the Trovia spell on yourself or you're going to be puking chucks up for the next few hours!!", Kuro laughed.

My exceed was so mean yet caring, I loved the admitting little brat. I grabbed him and pulled on his red cheeks to teach him a lesson.

The train whistle sounded. It's time.

"Let's get going than.", Kuro smiled.

I smiled back and we took our seats in the back of the train. I stared out the window mindlessly as we passed by the familiar scenery. So many memories flashed before my eyes, but if I stayed I would basically be performing suicide.

"To think that someone I loved so dearly would betray me worse then anyone ever had before. Fuck ya Dragneel boy I hope ya die.", I whispered sadly.

The train moved out of sight of the place I called home and we were off. Someone close offered me a place of work and home so I decided too take the offer.

~Timeskip Nightfall~
We reached the capital and headed to meet "her". Once we met up we both cheered and smiled seeing eachother once more. She took me to her guild and introduced me to the master.

"What's your name, ma'am?", He asked.

"My name is (Y/n) (L/n), and I am a Ice dragon slayer. This is my exceed Kurozaki, he prefers going by Kuro. I would appreciate it if you'd let me join your guild. If you need me to show you my strength I'd be more than happy too.", I smiled.

The guild master smiled back at me and shook his head.

"No need I can tell your strong. Welcome to the guild (y/n)."
