Day 2: Painful Secrets

(Narrator's POV)
Kito, the ocean dragon slayer, was now furious with the salmon haired boy that captured his friend's heart. He always knew that Natsu was trouble, he hurt (y/n) before and Natsu would probably be stupid enough to do it again. Kito floated lightly above the water of the Fairy Tail Pool and pondered on the situation, should he say something? No it would crush (y/n)'s heart and he couldn't bear to see that again.

"Well well ~ You wouldn't mind if I joined you kito, would you?", Kito looked up to see Lucy in a really revealing bikini.

He swam away her, to the other side of the pool, and then let her in. Kito always thought that Lucy was trouble so he was always on his guard with her around. Lucy happily swam  towards him with a creepy smile.

"Natsu's mine! Make sure you tell that (h/c) haired monster of yours that.", Lucy hissed into Kito's ear.

Kai, Kito's orange exceed, growled at Lucy to leave, thankfully she did and Kito process everything together.

"That bastard is cheating on (y/n) with Lucy.", Kito snarled in a low growl.

Kai's features were taken over by a look of pure sadness, (Y/n) meant a lot to Kito and he knew this wasn't going to end well for anyone. Kito jumped out of the pool, dried himself off, and headed to the guild library to do research. Something came to mind that worried him a lot and it involved (y/n)!!!

(Natsu's pov)
Geez Kuro is obviously trying to get me killed!!! That snobby little cat tried to rat me out to (y/n) but why didn't he?

"Natsu are you ok?", (Y/n) asked curiously with her adorable (e/c) eyes shining like the sun.

Deep down inside something sparked, but that spark vanished just as fast as it appeared. (Y/n), there's nothing there anymore but I still want to be with you....maybe....maybe I should just let Kito finally have you. H-he's a lot more reasonable for you to be with, Kito loves you a lot more than me. I just smiled and pecked her small forehead which caused her to blush, (Y/n)'s always adorable when she blushes.

"I love you Natsu.", she smiled.

"Yeah, th-thanks.", I replied.

When we reached the guild I bonked into someone with a huge stack of books, they fell on us and (y/n) immediately started to help clean up.
It was Kito and he looked a little overexcited to see me. His ocean dragon slayer lacrima gathered all the books and he pulled me to the library.

He slammed a book in front of me and I just looked at it like a confused puppy. Nobody told me about a pop quiz!!!!!

I internally freaked out until I noticed the cover, it read "Dragon Mating Patterns and Behaviors". Kito opened it to a page about females and started to explain,

"Ok all males know that they have to mark their mates with their scales, but guess what I just found out!", He paused.

Please don't tell me he knows, that damn cat told him, of all people.

"If a male decides to mark two mates because he loves another then it will slowly kill off the first mate he marked. With your example it would cook your mate from the inside out but they'd only be aware of the burning pain near your scales. It's different for all dragons though, I guess this is why we only bother looking for one mate. Isn't this a lot of pressure on us? It's totally unfair.", He smirked never taking his eyes off me.

Panic, sorrow, worry, anger, so many emotions sparked just from hearing those small sentences. I was hurting (y/n)!!! No this could be right, this can't be true!!

"I already know who your screwing with. You need to let (y/n) go, you hurt her once and now your doing it again! With the same fucking person to, do you need anymore information to clarify your problem!! Stop hurting her if you love that blonde bimbo of yours than so be it, but if it means you are gonna kill my friend then I'll make sure to kill her so your all alone for the rest of your life.", Kito hissed, his venom covered words pierced through me like daggers.

My body started trembling on its own in fear. This....this was to much!! If I brought her this much pain then why did I bother marking her in the first place, I never should've loved (y/n) she deserves better!!! Damn it, damn it, damn it!!!!

"Sh- she does deserve better!! Why did I bother bringing her back if I was just going to make the same mistake!!!", I screamed to myself.

Kito watched me but knew that it wasn't his place to say anything,
"I'll offer removing the mark for you but that's all, (y/n) doesn't need to know that her pain is coming from the person she loves. I'm keeping this a secret from her but I refuse to help you fix your mistake."

The blonde haired teen left me alone in the library and tears started falling from my onyx hues, this was so unfair!!! (Y/n) doesn't need to know but I have to tell her!! These secrets are to painful to bear and if it means destroying us then I'm willing to do it in order for her to move on.

"Kito I entrust her life and happiness to you....be-because I-*hick*- I can't do it anymore. She deserves someone better, like Sting or Rogue, hell even you!!!", I cried.

A strange purple smoke filled the room and my eyes became lifeless and the tears stopped. A familiar 'pop' came from behind me and I turned around with a smile to greet my mistress.

"Hi Lucy~"

"Hi handsome, you know you look a lot better when you're not crying.", she purred seductively against my ear.

I grabbed the bottom of her skirt and pulled it down, she didn't have panties on again. She laid herself on the table and blushed for me.

"And you look a lot better without any clothes on~", I growled.

That night we had another affair in the guild and trust me it was a hot one but little did we know that someone caught us doing it and it was one of the few people I was trying to hide this from.
