Storm

(Y/n's pov)
Even though my body had rested for the past week it was still soar from the overexertion of my powers. Dragon Force was so new I thought I would run wild if the battle didn't end quickly. Now I'm on the train back to Fairy Tail to meet the new member of the guild. My interest is peaked, a new guild mate would be perfect! Happy and Kuro were dying of laughter as Natsu's stomach gagged out everything he had in that endless pit he called a stomach.

"Oh my god you are so damn pathetic!!! Seriously I'm having doubts of my (y/n) ever marrying you!", Kuro teased through his constant laughter.

I missed this, having these moments with my boys. Once I awoke from recuperating my hand has constantly been holding my stomach, maybe it's just paranoia. Before long we were in front of the guild doors and sure enough a new scent was in the guild hall, but it smelled... familiar yet still unique.

"(Y/n)-nee!! You're back!! I thought you were in danger I'm so glad you're home!", Juvia hugged me and cheered.

As I hugged her back I realised she had lost weight, oh my dragons don't tell me!!?? My (e/c) hues scanned there way down to her stomach, it was flat it wasn't a bump anymore. Tears started to form in the corner of my eyes as I gazed at Juvia with a surprised expression. Juvia smiled at me and Gray appeared next to my blue haired friend with a small white bundle in his arms. The tears started to skid down my cheeks and my lips curled up into a smile, they did it. They had their baby, they were parents!! (A/n: Bruh I'm literally crying while writing this like I know this feeling of meeting a newborn so yeah I'm doing right now!!!!)

"Welcome back ice for brains, I'd like you to meet your godson. This is Storm Fullbuster, he was born the same day you disappeared.", Gray smiled as he handed me the little boy.

My legs gave out so I ended up on my knees holding the newborn in my arms with tears flooding from my eyes. He looked just like his father! I was so happy seeing the sleeping child, I couldn't handle this. I gave the child back to Juvia and hugged the small family before me.

"*hick* Con-congratulations you two... I'm so happy for you both!!", I smiled,".....Gray if that child ends up growing your habits I'll murder you. PUT SOME CLOTHES ON!!!"

Fullbuster freaked and ran off in search of his shirt and pants. Erza bought cake and soon it was party. This was perfect and Storm couldn't have been a more beautiful child. He'll do great in the future, no doubt he'll be a powerful mage.

"Hey babe you all right? You're starting to get pale?", Natsu asked taking ahold of my hand.

I smiled weakly at him, there's no point lying to him, Natsu knows that I'm in no state to even be standing.

"Nawww babe, I feel like shit. Those shadows that I consumed ain't going down so well.", I tried to joke but Natsu was being too serious to joke with.

He walked off to Juvia and Gray and whispered something to them but I didn't catch it since I suddenly fainted on the table. This is gonna be a long day.

(Natsu's pov)
Right after I informed Gray and Juvia that I'd be taking (y/n) home to rest the voices screeched out my name. I quickly turned around in a panic, (y/n) was unconscious, her head laying on Lisanna's lap, the exceeds panicking, and Lisanna was freaking out. The shadows that (y/n) engulfed during the battle several days ago are affecting her body worse than I thought they would. I quickly ran to my weakened wife's side and leaned her against my chest, she has an abnormally high fever.

"Guys I gotta go!!?", Before anyone could respond I was already gone and the exceeds were right behind me.

When we got home I softly laid (y/n) on the couch and started looking for the normal requirements. Bucket of cold water, a towel, a blanket, this should do. Kuro placed the wet towel on (y/n)'s burning forehead. We watched for any sign of comfort on her face, nothing.

"I have to get to Porlyusica. She'll know what to do. I can't just watch (y/n) suffer like this.", I growled as I gently squeezed my (h/c) haired wife's hand.

"She'll be fine Natsu, you've handled the same experience more than once.
Fatigue has taken over her body but if we watch her careful she'll have recovered in about two days.", Kuro sighed, "Besides you wouldn't be able to go anywhere with that big ol storm outside."

Finally taking in my surroundings I realised that a huge rain storm has struck and it was coming down like a waterfall. The red turd's right, there's no way I'd make it through a storm like that. (Y/n) would just have to wait till the storm passes so I could help her. Hopefully she'll be alright, (y/n)'s body might not be able to handle the pain but I know she can pull through this.

"I'm sorry babe you'll have to fight a little longer but I promise I'll be right here. No need to worry I'll be here for you until you wake up." I whispered taking her hand in mine.

This is gonna be challenge but my (y/n) can do it. I know she can!!
