Returning Home

(3rd pov)

It has been seven years since the disappearance of most of the Fairy Tail guild members, and nine years since (y/n)'s supposed death. Many of them left to Tenrou Island never to return many things have changed. The once infamous guild was now nothing but a building.

"No matter how hard they try they won't find them. They're all probably dead.", Romeo sighed.

It was rather depressing and Macao tried his best to encourage his son. Nothing really worked though.

Members of Dark Ogre tried to take over the guild hall and Romeo stood before them and attempted to stop them. They didn't get far especially since they basically got thier butts handed to em.

Romeo noticed the similar grin and stepped back in surprise.

"Yo we're home!!!", Natsu cheered.

Everyone celebrated and ended up throwing a party. It was all better now. The guild was home!!!

"Master about that Zeref man on Tenrou? It seems that he knew about (y/n)'s where about. Didn't you say she died?", Evergreen and Makarov spoke in secrecy and sadly he had to tell.

"If you and Elfman know does that mean that Natsu is aware as well?", Makarov frowned.

Evergreen and Elfman nodded and everyone turned their attention to the happy energetic pinkette. Natsu just laughed and smiled, just happy to be home. Makarov wasn't fooled though, he could see the sadness in his child's heart.

Everyone seemed happy to be home and Natsu was glad to see everyone ok. Over the trip though his feelings for the blonde changed and sadness took over.

"He really does seem depressed. He probably thinks that (y/n) has grown up and forgotten him.", Mavis smiled.

Makarov nodded and agreed, Mavis smiled and her eyes shined like stars.

"It's a good thing that she also fell under the same spell as everyone else!! She's still 16!!!", Mavis cheered quietly. 

Makarov was shocked and froze up, once he regained his composure he smiled. If she is still the same age and if she was affected by the magic than deep down she is still a member of fairy tail.

"Well first master that has to be the best news I have heard all day. Thank you for doing this for all of us.", Makarov cried.

The masters of Fairy Tail smiled at eachother and once more looked back at the mages they called family.

(Happy's pov)

"Man natsu has really been down lately, the news about (y/n) must've gotten him all depressed.", I sighed.

My poor buddy has been down so much lately. He tries to fool everyone but even I know that what he's hiding is serious. Lucy isn't helping much either when he's down she'll get mad and hit him saying she'll leave and stuff.

Everything seemed to lower his confidence.

"(Y/n) why'd you have to leave? Why couldn't you have stayed?", I whimpered.

I really missed her, we all did. Fairy Tail wasn't home without her there.

"Nyahahahahaha omg no way!! If it isn't happy of Fairy Tail.", someone giggled.

I looked up and saw the familiar  red furred cat. It was Kuro!!!

"WHAT NO WAY KUROZAKI!!!", I freaked.

This was such a great surprise. I pounced into a hug with him and we flew around Magnolia and spoke.

We caught up and he explained that (y/n) fell into a seven year coma and had just woke up several days ago. Sadly she had fallen extremely ill and struck by a terribly high fever.

Sadly he had to leave but I made sure that I gave him a gift for (y/n) from all of us. We parted ways at the train station and I flew back to the guild.

I noticed Natsu run out of the guild with tears in his eyes. Something happened I know it did! Erza and Gray ran out to get natsu but I stopped them and blocked them off.

"What happened? Why's natsu crying!!??", I hissed.

Gray explained that natsu had walked in on Lucy cheating on him with Loke. They didn't give a damn and natsu ran away.

I hissed and trembled. Lucy was our friend, she said she loved natsu so why would she do something so mean and stupid. Natsu waisted his time with her just like...just like how (y/n) waisted time on him. I trembled and flew back home at max speed. Natsu needed some support like NOW!!!!!!

Once I got home I found Natsu in his bed wrapped in his blanket, his knees up to his chest. He was so quiet it scared me.

"Natsu.", I called.

He shifted a bit and the blanket wrapped harder around him.

"I'm so stupid.....I'm so stupid for believing Lucy was the one. I'm stupid for missing out on the best thing in my life. (Y/n) was right, it took me all this time to notice that my true feelings are for (y/n). (Y/n) I miss you so much it hurts.", Natsu mumbled.

I jumped into the bed and moved around the covers too see his depressed tear-stained face. It was weird seeing Natsu this way, if (y/n) was here than she'd make him happy in no time!!

I remembered that Kuro gave me something and told me to write in it if I wanted something. If it'd help it would be worth a shot.

"Here natsu",

I handed him the book and a pen,

"Write down what you want the most and maybe you'll get a response."

He seemed a bit confused about it but he did. He wrote something down and took a deep breathe. Putting down the book he snuggled into his blankets again and hid himself.

This was too much, poor natsu wouldn't be able to deal with all this on his own. It was quiet in the room until we heard a small fwoom.

We both looked up and up at the notepad. Flames came from inside and the book jumped. Natsu and me freaked and jumped off the bed.

Once the book stopped jumping natsu reached hesitantly for it and looked inside. I don't know what it was but it made him smile.

"Happy...happy look.",

He showed me the book and my eyes widened,

"It's really her."

There in red ink under natsu's wish read,

"Whatcha want salamander? FYI it's (y/n) and no I don't wanna be talking to you, but HI!!! XD "
