SAM'S POV
Metal started clanging in the other room. Immortal's words echoed through my head, 'if the power goes out you're screwed.' I peaked out the window, other houses had power. Someone must have cut it.
"Run." I breathed. We both took off up the stairs.
"What is going on?" Pewdie stammered.
"The only thing that stood between us and the others, was an electric field. Now that the powers out needless to say we're screwed." We shut the door quickly behind us. Barricading it with various pieces of furniture. Metal clanging turned into banging. We both had our guns at the ready, aimed at the door.
A guy walked past the window. He had a gun with strange markings on it. "Crap we've got company."
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"There are guys here to kill the others, and the others are going to murder everyone. Thats pretty much the situation we're in here. Welcome to the creatures."
The door started to shake and the furniture was starting to give way. "You handle the hunter, I got the guys." Pewdie understood and disappeared outside.
So it was just me against 5 monsters. Should be a piece of cake. I Waited until there was only one piece of furniture against the door and took off down the hall way. I could hear the footsteps behind me getting closer.
I blindly shot over my shoulder, hitting a lamp in the process. I snuck a glance too see Nova Seamus and Sly trailing behind me. Kootra was nowhere to be seen. At least Immortal couldn't get out, seeing as his chains didn't rely on electricity. I heard screaming coming from downstairs, but I didn't have time to check it out at the moment. I made a B-line for the back door, which seemed to be my only escape at the moment.
Once I burst outside a warm ray of gold started to peak out from the mountains. The sun was starting to come up! I smiled and ran faster, knowing it would all be over soon. The footsteps behind me slowed and came to a stop. We had actually gotten through it alive. I turned around and gave everyone a hug, I didn't care if they were in their underwear or not.
They were all stretching out their backs and arms. "I guess it's over." Seamus said plainly. That's when I remembered Pewdie. I started sprinting to the front of the house. Ignoring the confused calls from the guys. "Pewdie!" I called fearing the worst. He couldn't take on a hunter, he could be dead for all I knew. Once I made it to the front of the house I found Pewdie being held by a scrawny guy pointing a knife to his neck.
"Give me the psychic one or he dies." Pewdie was struggling, but the guy seemed to have the upper hand. Sly, Seamus, and Nova emerged from behind the house.
"What do you mean psychic one?" I tried to play it cool as if I didn't know anything.
"He belongs to us."
"How does he belong to you? You're lucky we don't kill you on the spot!" Sly screamed.
"What do you think made him that way? You think it was just a coincidence that he was different?"
"You mean, you did that to him?" Sly screamed his eyes blazing.
"Oh yes, and more." He said with a smirk. Seamus and Nova were holding back Sly now. "This isn't even the beginning, give him to us and you won't have to face that. I'm not here to hurt you...yet."
Sly was screaming now. Yelling that he would never do that. "I never knew monsters were so sentimental with their toys. Too bad we already sent guys in to fetch him." He smirked as if he was two steps ahead of him. Dread filled inside me, thats when I remembered the scream. It wasn't Immortal's or Kootra's, I smirked too.
