Frantically running into the human world, Megumi gasps between breaths, trying to conceal her ever falling tears. She stumbles into the woods, tripping and falling into a hard white sheet of ice cold bliss. "Yuchiro and Mikaela were right..." She wheezed. "...vampires aren't our friends." The air freezing and decreasing each inhale she took, she stood up, and squint her eyes. Her lungs ached at the icy temperature rapidly entering her nostrils. Her arms and legs went numb right away, leaving only the hair on her back to keep her warm.
Footsteps slowly appeared behind her. A couple of them. "What do we have here?" A male figure asked. "Looks like we got ourselves our next soldier." The masculine figure pulled Megumi up to her legs. He took off his red and black uniformed jacket, wrapping it around her to keep her warm. Megumi tried to push herself away from him. "Leave me alone..." She cried.
"Shh...I'm not going to hurt you." He assured. "You're in need of help, and a warm place to stay. I'll take you back with me."
Megumi managed to turn her head to meet his face as he lifted her off her feet into his arms. Her eyes slowly grew bigger, seeing the black haired Lieutenant Guren Ichinose standing before her.
"Let's go." His two team mates followed behind her.
Mika and I sat within the hallways of a building that apparently used to be a school. The rest of the squad was taking comfort in a dark room with a made fire inside to keep us warm. Mikaela huddled himself, sitting on the desk, and looked out of the window. Staring at the moon, he gulped. I stared at him. "I miss her." Mika whispered.
I stayed quiet for a brief moment, to gaze at the moon. Resting my arms around me knees, and sighed. "Me too."
"I want to go and look for her."
"Where would we look?"
"I don't know..." Mikaela rested his chin on his knees. Crowley could have taken her anywhere..."
"She could have been possibly taken back to Nagoya."
"Dear God, anywhere but there."
I smirked a little, trying hard to remove it from my face. "Where would you want her to be?"
"Anywhere else but Nagoya."
"What if she's in the vampire city?" I asked.
"Okay, anywhere but Nagoya and the vampire city."
"I wonder...!" I gasped, turning to Mika. "What if the Imperial Demon Army fines her?!"
"Stop it Yu, you're making me anxious." Mika bit his thumb, trying hard to not anticipate my words. "If they find her, I may have no choice but to kill them."
"You? No choice?" I repeated. "How?"
Mika turns to me, with his worried eyes. "Think about it Yu."
I gawked at him, tilting my head. "Do you mean...wait. You mean what if Colonel Kureto Hiragi finds her???"
"That murderous beast..." Mika hissed. "We gotta leave now." Mika got up hurriedly, gathering his cloak fixing it around his neck.
"Right now??? It's dark out. We won't be able to find her. We don't even have a clue of where she is." I responded.
"I don't care. I have the ability and the capability to find her. If you're not going to come, then I'll go alone-"
"-Wait." I interrupted.
