Kimizuki settled me down on the ground next to the abandoned building. Mikaela stood, watching to see if any strangers were around.
"This is no use." He spoke.
"Why not?" Kimizuki asked.
"You're injured, I got knocked out, and Yu is unconscious. No one was able to come on time. I told him those flares was such a stupid idea...it drew unwanted attention."
Shinoa then budded in. "But if it weren't for him using the flare, we wouldn't have known you both needed help."
"Exactly!" Mitsuba shouted.
Yoichi chuckled nervously. "Come on guys, don't start bickering again."
Mikaela glared at Yoichi who halted his nervous feelings, feeling a bit intimidated. Mikaela stomped away.
"Did you see that?" Kimizuki asked.
"He just eyed you with a nasty glare." Makato cackled. "Man, is he a hot head or what?"
"That's not funny! What if he's really pissed at me because of something?!"
"Like what?" Makato wiped the tears from his eyes.
"I-I don't know..."
"Exactly, so stop worrying. He's more likely having a moment because of what happened." Makato fingered his ear, and sat down next to me. I slowly began to fidget, turning to my left side.
Kimizuki stared at my back pocket. "Hey, what is that?" He kneeled by me, pulling out a pamphlet. "It's a map!"
Everyone looked, and gathered. "Great job, Yu!" Shinoa said impressed. Shinoa opened the map and skimmed the routes. "Okazaki...right now we're in... Hamamatsu."
"Alright, so where should we be heading?" Mitsuba asked.
"To Tokyo. We got probably a couple weeks ahead of us or more." Shinoa sighed.
Everybody groaned. "That's going to take forever..." Yoichi sighed heavily.
"What's going to take forever?" I said.
Everyone jolted up.
"Yu!!!" Shinoa jumped on me, knocking my head onto the hard concrete wall.
"Eh, teh teh teh..." I cringed holding my skull.
Shinoa's cheeks became rosy as she backed away from me. "S-Sorry!" She spoke.
"It's okay..., gosh how long was I out for?"
"Like about several hours. Let's say...three, four hours." Kimizuki spoke.
Shocked, I stood up quickly. "Where's Mika, and that vampire bastard with his assistants?!" I looked around frantically not seeing one of them.
"Calm down," Makato said. "Mika is fine, he just...got mad again and stomped off. We fled from the nobles on the other hand."
"It's a good thing you used that flare." Mitsuba smiled.
Stunned, I looked at everyone. "You guys heard it???"
"Of course." Shinoa smiled.
I smiled at everyone. Mika then came back, with something in his hand. "Take a look at this." He handed me a white cloth that appeared to be ripped.
"What's this supposed to be?" I arch an eyebrow.
"I think it's from that girl we captured the other night." He stated.
