Chapter 14

The next morning I get on a ready to search the woods outfit. I put on ripped black jeans, a dark gray crop top with daisies on it, and a pair of black short combat boots completing the outfit with a light fall green jacket with plaid on the back in one place. I call Caleb but I hear him downstairs talking to my parents. I go downstairs after doing my makeup and say hi. He kisses me in front of my parents and I blush. We say goodbye to my parents and go to his car. We drive in his car to be woods.
He sees me shaking in my seat and look scared. I don't want to go back to this place even though I don't remember it much.
He puts his hand over my hand which is on my thigh. "It will be okay. I won't let anything happen to you ever again. I will protect you always."
I rest my head against his shoulder as he drives and he holds my hand tight. "Never let go." I tell him.
"I never will Bex. We're glued together forever. Our little infinity will become an everlasting infinity."
I smile at him and we pull up to where he pinned the Gps of the phone. We get out the car and I cross my arms and shiver in the late winters air. We walk to where the gps locator is. There's a little stream then a tunnel where the phone is in. I climb down some rocks to go get it after Caleb said he would get it but I have to do this myself. He doesn't knows it's the same sewage tunnel where I was found in. But I have to face my fears some point. Today this is one of them.
I get inside. "It's all dark in here." I use my flashlight on my phone to search around. "Ew this is gross."
He says,"Be careful Bex there might be rats or something."
I'm not afraid of those after what has happened to me. I look around and see some rats and other bugs but no phone. Then all the way out the other end I see it on a cliff.
I yell at Caleb. "There's another end of the tunnel. I'm going have to get the phone carefully cause there's a cliff. I can see it!"
He shakes his head in worry. "Bex you should come back it's too dangerous!"
I reach for the phone but can't get it. I climb out half way and finally grab it. I nearly fall off the edge. Beneath me is a terror of around a big amount of feet to the bottom of the cliff that could end my life. I get myself back in the tunnel and head out. As I reach to get out the tunnel I trip as I get my foot stuck in a hole and drop the phone nearly in the water but I fall in instead. Dirty murky water got on my shirt and jacket. My mind goes black for a minute. I see darkness and the woods. I hear someone whispering something to someone else. It sounds like Amber I think. I can kind of see Anthony but he's standing up and looks not injured. She walks to me and sees I'm awake and then bashes my head with wood.
Caleb pulls me out and carries me and puts me on the ground near a tree. "Careful Bex. Are you okay?"
I nod my head. "Just soaking wet. I... saw something."
He takes off my jacket and helps me take off my shirt  and puts his sweatshirt on me. "What did you see?"
"I had a flashback. I saw Amber. I was here in the woods. I was passed out though and lightly waking up. I saw Anthony but he was awake and standing up."
He has a confused look on his face. "That's strange. Maybe he just was taken or something. Wasn't this where you were found?"
I nod my head. I hand him the phone and he puts in his pocket and grabs my hand to help me up. I swing into his arms and he wraps his arms around me. We stand there for a while assuring me I'm okay and safe.

I go to see Anthony at his house while Caleb does his thing with the phone. His mom lets me in and I go to his room. I open the door and see his crazy kitty Prisilla curled up next to him. I don't think she likes me because she get jealous when I'm near them and hisses at me. He looks all bandaged up still but looks much better. His eyes and face are bruised and his arm is wrapped up in a cast which is freshly clean.
"Hey how are you feeling?" I say as I flop down on the a vertical angle on the other side of his bed.
He presses his lips out. "Girl it hurts like a mother but I got my girls Rhianna and Lana so it's good. How you doing?"
"I'm feeling okay. Omg the strangest stuff has happened again. So the text that we have been getting Caleb found the phone that it's from but it was in the woods and I saw it at the end of the tunnel we were put in. Then I had a flashback but I don't remember it well."
He's shocked, "OMG! Tell me what happened in it!"
"Can I ask you something serious?"
He nods his head. I ask him, "Are you absolutely sure you had nothing to do with what happened? You weren't in with Amber in it?"
"Oh god no!! I would never. I promise and swear on my Priscilla's life!" He nearly screams.
I believe him. He wouldn't get this hurt just to make himself look innocent. I tell him my flashback and he's shocked. He doesn't remember being there and standing up. Whatever if he's telling the the truth or not I just want all of this to be over. I wish I never met Amber and we never became friends. What did I ever do to her to deserve this. The only way we can settle this is to meet with her. Face the enemy and end this all.
"There's only one way to fix all of this." I tell Anthony.
He lays next to me. "I know exactly what you are thinking."
His voice shakes which is a first since his personality is really bubbly and humorous and vibrant. Never so scared. I feel the hairs on my neck go up and I hold his hand. We plan on what to do and watch AHS reruns all night.
