Chapter 4

I walk into school looking for Anthony. I fine him in seconds but see that he's talking to Amber. I thought 'WTF is he doing talking to her after he knows how much I hate her!' I wait for him. Few minutes later he looks over at me. He says goodbye and walks over.

"Hey girl. Good Morning." Anthony says.

I glare at him, "Why were you talking to Amber after you know how much I hate her?"

"We were just talking about how she wants to meet with you somewhere to talk. I promise." He said worried.

I accepted then we went to first period.

Throughtout the day I kept hearing these rumors about me. One was that I was in love with a boy I used to like Matt Carter. Which is embarrassing because he's in three of my classes and he already knew. I went to 6th period which was study hall and he was sitting right behind the desk I sit at. Everyone is staring at me.

Matt said to me while I sat down ,"So where you want to go on our date later sweetie?"

"What are you talking about?" I asked.

"I heard that you are deeply in love with me that you write my name all over your walls. So then I decided to ask you out. Just one thing bitch wear sexy lingerie" He said laughing.

The whole class satrted laughing and pointing and saying other terrible things about me. I rushed out of the room and ran to the bathroom crying. When I walked in Amber and her friends were in there.

"Next time you blab to someone about a crush you had make sure you don't say it 24/7. Also the witch called she wants her nose back!" Amber laughed with her minions.

I ran out to my car but then I heard someone calling my name. It's this boy Caleb from my math class. He's kind of my friend.

"Hey Rebecca wait up!" He yelled.

I stood at my car door waiting.

He then said, "I heard about the rumor and what Matt said then saw you crying. I thought you could use a friend."

"Why would she do such an awful thing to me. I thought Amber was my best friend you know. I knew her for eight years! Eight wasteful years. I wish I could go back in time and change who I became friends with." I said bawling my eyes out.

He puts his hand on my shoulder, "It'll be okay. Karma will come around and bite her in the ass. I know it sucks now but soon she'll realize whats she is doing and she'll feel awful. Also if you went back in time to change your friends then I wouldn't of met you. I know we dont talk much but I do know that your strong and that you won't let people put you down."

I then cry and hug him. He holds me and whispers 'It'll be alright'.

We pull apart. "Thanks Caleb. It means a lot to me that you care."

"Anytime. How about we go somewhere for coffee." He suggest.

After I brought Caleb home I go home. I run into my room blasting music. I sit on my bed crying myself to sleep. A couple hours later I hear a knock on my door. I wake up and open the door. It's Anthony.

"Hey. Are you okay?" He asked.

I turn around and sit on my bed. He sits next to me.

"Of course I'm not okay Anthony. Did you hear what Matt Carter said. It's awful."

He then told me, "I did. I'm really sorry I didn't come or call sooner. You didn't show for lunch then after school I waited for you in our spot. Then I walked around looking for your car. When you didn't show I was worried."

"After Matt said that to me I ran to the bathroom crying but when I walked in Amber there with her friends she said awful things to me which made me run to my car. When I was about to open my car door this boy Caleb from my math class was calling my name runing. We talked for a while. He was comforting me and then we hugged. He held me for a while. After that we cut school and went to get coffee. It was an awful day. This never never happened to me before." I vented to Anthony.

He then told me how he felt sorry for me. We talked for a couple of hours. When he went to the bathroom he left his phone. He got a text from-omg Amber!

It said, "Nice. I'll meet you later to discuss about today."

I covered my mouth and felt my whole world turn upside down. How could Anthony do that to me? He was my good friend. I put his phone down and play on mine. He then walks in and sits back down.

"I don't feel well I think I might just lay down some more. I'll talk to you tomorrow at school." I tell him.

He grabs his phone and says. "Sure thing. Do me a favor and no more crying! Bye."

He closes the door and walks down stairs out the house. I stand in the window looking at him and mutter. 'What a trader!' I text Caleb and then cry again.
