That night, I went on another date with Chat Noir. We were facing the sky and stargazing.

"When I see the stars, I think of you."
I sighed happily.

"...because you're only beautiful from a distance."

I punched him in the stomach.
"Chat Noir, take that back!"

"Okay, okay. I was just kidding!"

"And...?"

"And I think you're hot."

"I was actually looking for an 'I'm sorry', but that'll do." I teased.

"Hey, actually, I finished your dress. Would you like to try it on?"

"It's beautiful..."

I put on the dress, and Ankh took off my suit except for my mask, gloves, and boots. He offered me a hand, and we danced to faint music below.

It was really romantic. He pulled me close, and wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Hey Fox Flame?"

"What?"

"Are you an anti-hero? I've been meaning to ask you but..."

Adrien must know this guy. That's exactly what I had told him when we were working on our project.

"Who wants to know?"

"I do?"

"Yes, I suppose I am."

"But you still like me, right?"

What. Was. That?

"I never said anything about-"

"But I like you! You brighten up my life, Fox Flame. I look forward to seeing you every night, I just don't know what I'd do without you..."

"Chat..."

He took my hands in his.

"I don't care if you're a villain, or an anti-hero, or whatever. As long as you're mine, I don't care. I'd do anything for you..."

'The deal.' Ankh whispered.

"Even give me your miraculous?"

He dropped my hand slowly.

"No, not that."

"Why not?"

"Why do you need it?!"
He raised his voice and let go of me.

"I don't! It's for someone else..."

"Who?!"

"Just trust me okay?! Don't you trust me? I'm not going to hurt you, Chat! You just finished saying how you'd do anything- ANYTHING- for me. And now you're taking it back just because I want your ring?!"

I was so mad.

"I thought you'd understand me!"

"And I thought you liked me back!"

He stopped.
"Wait, you do like me, then?"

"I- I don't know. I'm not supposed to!"

"Who are you working for?" He repeated, dangerously quiet.

I was silent.

"Who?!" He suddenly yelled, scaring me. He'd never yelled before.

"Hawk Moth."

"Wha-? Hawk Moth?! Seriously? So this whole thing was just to get my miraculous? How could you?!"

"Chat, no-"

"I thought you actually liked me back!" He screamed, tears forming.

"I didn't know, okay?! A deal is a deal! I didn't know I'd end up falling for you! I really didn't! Just trust me, for once!" I yelled back.

"I'm sorry I wasn't what you expected! You were just using me! How could I trust someone like that?"

It was quiet. I was seething in rage, while Chat Noir was pathetically crying on the Eiffel Tower.

"Just... don't talk to me anymore. I take back what I said. I don't like you anymore." He said in between sobs.

I felt like my heart was twisting with pain, but I ignored it.

I slid down the Tower angrily. Hawk Moth activated my powers. My hair turned into a fire, my skin orange, and my dress was lit to resemble a volcano. It was the same, but cut shorter. I grinned.

I'll show Paris a real hero.

I burned some of the city, spreading my rage. Anger controlled me. And then, a particular alley cat decided to intervene. He jumped in front of me.

"Fox Flame, I'm sorry-"

"I don't want your sorry!"

I threw a ball of fire at him, and he dodged it. Ladybug showed up soon.

"Looks like it's getting pretty hot in here, eh?" Chat Noir wasn't in the mood for her puns.

"Fox Flame, I really didn't mean-"

"My name is Flame! Fox Flame is gone! There's only Flame and Paris."

"Flame, please! I-"

I launched him into a building wall, and fought Ladybug. I eventually encased her in a ring of fire, and she lost consciousness. I stooped down to take her earrings, when I was knocked backwards by Chat Noir.

He fell on top of me, holding my fists so I couldn't punch him. But I was burning him. Steam hissed as it burned straight through his gloves, but he didn't let go.

"Flame, please listen to me! I'm sorry! I'll give you my Miraculous, just please don't hate me anymore."

I softened up, although I couldn't figure out why. He released the grip on my knuckles slightly.

"Please... I thought about what you said earlier, and you were right. I'm sorry. I'll hand you my Miraculous, here." He opened the palm of my hand and was sliding off his ring when Ladybug jumped back in.

She tackled me from behind, and tied me up. I burned right through them, and we started fighting.

"Ladybug, stop! Don't hurt her!"

Ladybug loosened the grip on my throat, and looked back at Chat Noir. I kicked her in the stomach, and made a run for her earrings. Chat Noir blocked me.

"Get out of my way."

"I won't let you. You can have mine, look." I opened my palm, ready to receive Hawk Moth's prize. Instead, he pulled me by the waist and kissed me. It must've burned him. I resisted at first, but then kissed him back. I felt my hands in his, and used Cataclysm on my gloves. My hair stopped burning, and my dress went back to its normal length. My gloves were in pieces on the floor. The energy I spent keeping the fire alive was too much. I fell to my knees, certain Ankh was going to change back any second now.

Chat Noir lifted up my chin with a clawed finger delicately.

"I love you, Fox Flame."

And he kissed me again before I went unconscious, carrying me.

This was so dramatic tbh I'm really sorry. The next chapters will be better, now that your Akuma has been destroyed.
