Yes he is, Gabriel. Yes he is.

He strode to the secretary's desk.
"(Y/n), she's staying here. You remember her from our project?"

"Yes. That's fine. I'll tell Mr. Agreste right away-"

"No! I mean... he doesn't need to know about this..."

"Know about what, son?"
Mr. Agreste entered the room.

"My friend (y/n) is staying for a night."

"Friend?"

"Okay, girlfriend..."

Mr. Agreste grumbled something disapproving. He stared at me, and although it was only for a brief second, I knew. Those purple eyes... I'd never forget. Never. Not when they'd caused me to almost burn Adrien alive.

(YEAH, that's right!!! Mr. Agreste is Hawkmoth in this story!)

"Miss (y/n) can stay."
He smiled, and I smiled back. It wasn't a friendly smile, it was the smile of unfinished business.

"Thank you, Mr. Agreste."
I snarled with a smirk.

Adrien led me to his room, and closed the door. He held my hands, and tried to get me to look at him.

"What happened back there?"

"Adrien, I really don't think you know everything your father has done..."

"What? He's a designer and a critic-"

"You really don't know?"

"Know what?"

"I suppose only a victim would know, wouldn't they? But it's not like you haven't worked with his victims, have you?! Oh wait! There's me..."
I said snarkily.

"What are you talking about?! What did he do to you?"

"You remember."

He was silent, there was no point in explaining it to him. He probably wouldn't believe me anyways.

"Why am I even here?"

"I've been having these nightmares, Foxy. Really bad. About you, or my mom... Anyways, I figured you could help me forget."

"Of course."

But I couldn't forget. Not about Mr. Agreste and our little deal.

We went to sleep, my dreams haunted by my fear of setting fire to Paris again. Because Flame would rise again, but for a different reason.

I felt Adrien drift away from me. And then he shot up, tears streaming from his eyes. He realized it was a dream, and cried freely into his hands. I sat up and stroked his back.

"Adrien..."

"I'm sorry... I was supposed to be there for you... I was supposed to protect you, and I wasn't there in time... I'm so sorry..."

"No, I'm right here! Adrien, look at me. I'm here for you..."

He looked up, and although it was dark, I could see the tears welling in his eyes. He buried his face into my neck. I laid back down, and pulled him with me. Part of my shirt was soaked, but I didn't care. He stopped crying, and I ran my hands through his hair a couple times. I kissed his forehead. He grinned slightly.

"I'm not leaving you either, Foxy."

'Not yet, anyways.' I thought.
